Wouldn't be surprised if he re-matched with you under a different account at some point. If so, I'd bet this dude is married and isn't actually 44 miles away. Thats why he wont tell you where he works. Also why he wont book a hotel, so it doesn't show on statements. Or text or call. Probably doesn't even have a job. Was waiting for his wife/girlfriend to go to work so he could use her car and sneak out but the plan got foiled. If he comes sniffin back around dont fall for it. You are a cute and sophisticated woman and deserve better.

If you're ever in the UK, I'd love to play pool, and then go fishing in the morning :) For real though, look after yourself. Dating apps are trash and I would never have any account on any of them. I think he was probably just an asshole who changed his mind or something, but better safe than sorry.

lol I just got over my ex who was from the UK in West Yorkshire. He annihilated my self worth though after a 10 year breakup. He got me to love his daughter and him… I didn’t eat meat at the time for over 14 years, but I learned to make a full English breakfast for him which was disgusting at first lol the meat bounced when it fell out of the pan lmao! I did soo much and bought such thoughtful gifts, gave him massages, the whole 9. He vanished like legitimately… and stole $800 from me basically that was in his safe. Now he’s playing victim of course… I loved his daughter (I don’t have a kid), and we were really starting to bond and he ripped it all away and never told me why. Came to my work and kissed me and said he loved me and then vanished.. it was awful…
