WHERE IS NEPHI FROM?
I am Nephi Acaling. I am native to Bacolod City in the Philippines but in the recent years I have been moving and living in different countries like Singapore, Japan and the US due to the nature of my work. I was in the US when I started this channel but I am currently in Indonesia thus the confusion to some where I am truly based.
MUSICAL BACKGROUND
Former band vocalist of Akita performing at K-Pub in Ayala Cebu, Philippines (2019-2020)
Former band vocalist of Big Three Band performing in Yokohama 7, Yokohama, Japan (2014-2016).
Former member of the Filipino Voice Symphony (2010-2011) where I was taught by professional chorale singers (e.g. former soprano from UP Madrigal Singers). Our singing group actually bagged the Gold Medal in the International A cappella Championships held in Singapore in 2011.
Former university choir and singing trainer at Technological University of the Philippines Visayas.
WHAT IS THE GREATER GOAL?
My mission is to promote music among different regions and try to make people from different countries relate to each other through music and singing. I have always believed that even small gestures in understanding similarities and differences towards others actually lead to greater awareness about countries and their people.
In this modern world full of things that divide humanity, it is but perfect to put efforts in re-uniting and building bridges among all of us.

This song "tinggalkan diriku" was a song by siti Sarah, and this version is recorded somewhere in 2018 during a practice session for a showcase by siti Sarah; together with a pianist and guitarist which featured in this video clip. This Recorded Acapella version song was given to Siti Sarah husband "shuib" eight or seven days after the Demise of Siti Sarah due to COVID-19 while heavily pregnant. She was put to sleep and doctors have to operate her to get her baby out. She passed away few days later without seeing her baby. The song storyline tells exactly what had happened to their family. It was as if Siti Sarah already know that she will go one fine day. The video clip done in animation to summarize everything about their life. From Four KIDS she left behind including the baby; SHUIB, the husband; BUBBLEBEE, the honey based dessert and drink they produced, the last CONVERSATION between Siti Sarah n Shuib before she Was put to sleep; and a TRIBUTE to both pianist and the guitarist who also passed away about the same year. I hope I gave a fairly good explanation about what inspired and happened in the song.

At first i hesitate to watch the video coz i know i'll be emotional. But after few days i can't take it. I must watch it. True enough it got the better of me. Especially the last conversation. Growing up watching Sarah's career & life...and following her build up her marriage life & business with Shuib, then having kids...now video moments of her last moments. Really heartfelt. Shuib, he is very strong... emotionally & mentally. He's an inspiration.

It took me this long to finally watch that video and it just teared me apart. Siti Sarah's hit songs was such a staple in my life. The way God took her home was noble as it can be. She was heavily pregnant and suffered covid. She sacrificed her life to bring a life into this world. I couldn't even begin to imagine her husband's state. And her kids. I just can't.

Very touching song and voice. I can feel the lost for shuib and kids. I lost my father on 10/11/2021. I cant be on his side during last breath. I feel so down and feel very guilty until now. Ya Allah..how I can explain the sorrows and pain inside my heart 😭😭😭. This is really so sad...because it's so real, it's her singing, and Shuib included their last conversation. This is her parting gift to us, but most of all to Shuib. The song tells about her life. T kasih Shuib kerana berkongsi arwah dengan peminat2nya, kerana sudi berkongsi perbualan kalian yang terakhir. Anda berdua cuba untuk kuat, tetapi dugaan terlalu hebat. This is my fav song from her 2nd album back in 2005 i guess. I watched her sang it live during the showcase in 2018. It was sooooo good. The song originally from the girl point of view...she questioned what was her fault and why the guy leave her. And now...the feel was different. The last part...it was Shuib who questioned why....😭😭😭😭😭😭

I cried watching this MV. Not because of the song, probably because I am kind of 'tone deaf', or 'hati batu'. But because I saw them growing from one point to another, and I could see and feel how shattered their dreams of future when Siti Sarah passed away.
