basementtunes First and foremost, he definitely held her back. She had a horrible contract and everything! Do your research. Her music isn't all the same. From songs like "Treat Me Like Somebody" "Surprizes" "Modern Wave" "Stripclub" "MIA" just to name a few. She can switch it up. We're blaming it on him lol

She has always had a following, but if you don't know that you have to do songs that reach more than a specific type of people to be big..... Okay. Anyway. I love her voice, and have all her music, but if your songs don't speak to different types of people, you will only go so far. Tim had the same amount of blame any producer has for a very short part of her career.
