I have only just purchased the Fitbit Sense, and not being a techi or a person who uses social media, I really was glad I came across your review and explanation. I shall be referring to this video often to go over points, so that I become savvy with those I need. It is a shame that there is a price to pay for getting more in depth coverage for some of the settings! Thanks much. I shall be on the lookout for further FS reviews.

Great video. I got my Sense Fitbit for Christmas. So far I am enjoying it. Your video helped me understand many of the options available. The only thing that I am unclear is whether I need to turn the Fitbit Sense on when I am ready to start a water aerobics workout. If you could kindly reply. Thanks

Thank you the in-depth review. I’m trying to research device before purchasing. Doctor wants our family members to buy Apple Watch. Currently not an option for us. Your review appears to be objective, which I appreciate. Seems to be a number of negative reviews out there. Apparently they didn’t watch the Fitbit release video nor read the manual. Again thank you - nice job.

I probably would go with the Versa 3.. unless stress detection is what your looking for then maybe the sense... be mindful thou if you want music storage on the watch, you'll need subscription. They removed that function with the sense and versa

Great Video, I just received the Sense as my Versa 2 would not connect to my phone anymore. I had heard such poor reviews on the Sense 3 that I decided to go with the Sense. But as you stated, I too am disappointed with what it can do in the future and not right now. I did have a question for you that I can't find the answer for. When starting an exercise there was a place in the Versa 2 to your put your favorite activities in order with a limit of 7. I can't find where to do that anywhere on the Sense. I don't want to have to scroll down every time I want to start a walk or play tennis, etc. So if you know, I would love to hear. Thanks

Hi I have the fit bit charge 4 and I'm getting a new fit bit,what you recommend.i mainly use it for heart rate,sleep tracking,and steps.the charge 4 is not accurate with steps,it will actually calculate steps just sitting and not moving.so witch tracker would you recommend the sense or charge 5 or something different,thanks

Hey I'm hoping you could help me out, from this video it seems as though the fitbit is just a bit delayed. You double tap, or swipe and it seems to happen just a moment later? Is this really as bad as it seems on camera or have they maybe fixed this? Thanks for your response.

I'm still undecided as to whether I should get the Sense. I just heard about the recent updates of the SpO2 feature and the Google voice assistant which I like, but still nothing about loading your own music to the watch.

I wanted to buy the sense but based on your recommendation for the fitbit sense.......do u think I shud hold on to the fitbit blze or the fitbit sense is worth my money??

No, you need to have the phone near you to play music. You can't play music directly from the watch. The fitbit sense has some neat features, but it lacks on music capabilities. If you are concerned about playing music from the watch you may want to look into the Tic Watch Pro 3 or Garmin Venu SQ. I have videos on both watches on my channel.

Nice video Jeff! I think the Fitbit Sense looks nice, but it missed the boat on design. They should have worked more with the Pebble designers and tried less to mimick the Apple Watch. The side button - a sort of haptic feedback thingy, yeah, it is not really a button and the location is lame- poorly designed. How, the data that this new smart-fitness watch is amazing, but is it too much? I worry that the Fitbit Sense is trying to collect too much.

Yes, the side button isn't my favorite, it could be better and more responsive. It seems they are trying to go the route of the Apple Watch but I'm noticing the Garmin Venu SQ also going that route. I'm someone that loves all the data, my hope is that smart watches can help us identify health issues early and help us stay healthier by letting us know if we aren't getting enough sleep, exercising enough and being too stressed and I think features like the ECG can even lead to saving people's lives. I'm sure companies are collecting all the data, but my hope is the pros outweigh the cons with using this great technology.

I've taken the watch swimming so its waterproof, but not in the ocean. I'm not sure what the salty water will do to the watch body. Personally, I'd take it off before going into the ocean.

The Sense is not the greatest. You can't load your own mp3 music to the watch. That's a deal breaker for me. 😒 Sticking with my Ionic.

I do think the Sense has some promising features with all it's new sensors. It's a shame all the features aren't rolled out yet. It also comes with 2.5gb of space, so I think with a simple software update they could allow you to load your own music, but unfortunately I think the music streaming services is what they want people to pay for.

My Ionic never worked right.. It just didn't jive with my LG Phone and Fitbit just said it wasn't compatible. I have it to my son and it actually fell apart after awhile. The screen glass just fell off.

Has a fatal flaw-the four pin charger will often fail when one of the pins depresses and stops contacting the watch. I've never had any tech device I have had so many problems with failing-due to the charging issue. Be very careful when applying the charger to the body of the Fitbit Sense. AVOID

I will never buy another Fitbit product,my wife’s Fitbit sense stopped working 2 months after warranty was up,my Fitbit sense the face came lose a month and a half after warranty was done,Fitbit won’t tell me how to fix it and because it’s out of warranty will only give me a discount on a new one. I can’t afford 300 dollars for these things,I’ll buy a cheap timex

Just thought I would add a comment in relation to the Fitbit it now does have Google capability also and when you ask a question the phone will literally speak back to you you can also get music from KZfaq a little trick I learnt was on your phone go to maps setting any stupid destination push start for the phone to give directions on an Android phone by the way and at the bottom right hand side you will see 4 dots if you push either one of these you will get Spotify Deezer KZfaq music you can make up your own library and in the Watch it's self when you double press the hard soft button it will go to a music app I think you'll figure it out when you get that far you can also make two way conversations go to Google call Lisa and it will be done voice racing incoming call I have 9 set to vibrate and you answer it on the Watch but I also have my earbuds connected if you want to leave your phone behind you do need to activate the GPS going into the app that's what I do I just just tell her I'm going on a walk starter and then that's that regarding the fast charge those work I did not use a stopwatch but a couple of times I connect it to the charger what downstairs made a cup of tea short period of time like that I'm on I got back up charge to 100% that being said it wasn't fully empty when I went down it was probably add 30
