I actually really love that first stand and the look at the ground, so far away. Then the wobbly moments, wondering who ordered these spindly things, because they don’t work. ❤️

It's amazing that they know how and where to get milk. Although this goal seemed to only have a vague idea of how it works. At least at first.

All newborn foals are like this, id say this one is only several hours old. Nothing to worry about. Youd be like this if you were trying to stand as a newborn hahaha!

Nah... The foal is only a matter of minutes old. Tink hasn't quite fully recognized it. But she's not rejecting... I've seen mares do that. Kicking foals and breaking ribs.

@@elizabethblackwell6242 not idiotic. Happens more often that you think. In all species of animals. I like that the humans are keeping their distance and just observing. Mama and baby need time to bond and learn each other's scents.
