HA changed a lot since I was there in 1999. Did many an hr in the soil hall. Remember strain gauging a cultivator and testing it in the soil hall on various levels of soil compaction. Still friends with many who went there.

When I was at Reaseheath the bar in Harper Adam’s was often talked about when the Rugby team would return. Reaseheath even kidnapped a Harper student and nearly smuggled him back on the bus

Graduated from Harper Engineering in 2010 - great to see a tour to see how it's changed. Still some familiar machines in the machinery shed we used for assignments!

What a great college Harper Adam’s is it’s mind boggling it’s no wonder all the students like going I like the idea of making a swimming pool in that old building it would certainly generate some extra income The New Combine looks great feeling 85;% today and Olly another brilliant video

Hope you get time to take a few shots round Myerscough. I left there in July 1974, yes 50 years ago, so be good to see what the place looks like today. Last time I was there was for our 25 year reunion in 1999, shortly before emigrating to Canada. I know they’ve built lots more facilities since my time there and some of the courses offered now had not even been imagined then.

Regarding the swimming pool idea, perhaps look at a swim spa or two?Much more efficient, cheaper and great for training and teaching.

Another great video Olly, you truly are a man of many ideas when it comes to diversification. A private swimming pool for hire might be way beyond left field but if the figures work then why the hell not. You could work it into a package with Brook House, like a Hot Tub on Steroids😉. Who wouldn't like a pool party. You would need someone to be there to look after it though (Safety and all) Can't see Morgan volunteering to don the Speedos though.🤔🤣. Plus you have the perfect team to do the bulk of the work on the building. 👍.

You certainly get about. There is a farm i know that stopped growing wheat so put in a swimming pool to use the BioMass boiler put in to dry the wheat.

Good video and interesting to see the setup at Harper Adam’s - the small Claas harvester is cool as is the fact that they have a JD 7500 forager!!! Have you been to RAU Cirencester or the University of Nottingham’s agriculture department yet?
