I know it. I just can't tell you how much it warms my heart and soul to see good people helping these animals for no other reason than to give them a good life and because it feels good to them to do that. How that wouldn't make anyone happy, I will never understand.

At 74 I will not get a kitten. A cat attached himself to me 3 years ago at the bay where I walk. Long story. He is adorable, 22 lbs, probably 6 years old. I help local shelter. Brought home 17 year old last summer, now 18. Dumped. Adorable. Sweet old man. You can see the gratefulness on his face. Brought home a 15 year old last month. She is sweet. I have had a few blind cats over the years as well as currently. They just adapt in safe environments. Mine is a torture and she is pretty spicy at times and wants to be with me and hold her when ever she gets the chance! You have a priceless gift!!!!!

I was shocked when she said he was blind .... he seems to get around perfectly and surprisingly looking out the window. Maybe he had 10 percent sight. I feel bad he had his eyes removed due to ulcers. I hope these vets did the right thing....

When I was born the Dr’s told my parents that I would’nt live long, I am 64 years old now, so no, you don’t know, Pillbug could easily live a long life and I pray he does.
