To fix the pie maybe you can add whipped cream dollops around the edge of the pie to cover the separation. They use spackle/ joint compounds out of a piping bag. dollar tree sells a small container and the piping bags and tips. The cake with the holly leaves is a Christmas pudding. I haven't done doll foods, but we've done a lot of fancy teas like that... with the now defunct Jane Austen Festival, a tea house near me, and the museum near me puts on a doll tea for little girls and their moms we just went too... so the little tea set really stood out to me!

Please, when you do make mini foods make videos (showing fails, too) and tips and tricks you learn. I do watch mini food videos (Sugar Charm Shoppe is a good one to watch) but most aren't 18" doll sized. We can make them bigger I know but they give me a lot of ideas. With that pumpkin pie you could buy Spackle and cover it with "whipped cream" around the edge ?

Oh man. I made that pumpkin pie, and I’ll tell you…I am sooooo sad that it turned out that way! I keep one of every item I make and mine is cracked as well. Here’s what happened: I made the crust with polymer clay and the filling is air-dry clay. As the air dry clay got harder it shrunk and separated from the crust. Making doll food has such a learning curve. That Thanksgiving meal was my very first release and it’s amazing how much I’ve learned since then. I’m still learning about what materials work best and feel like I’ve gotten so much better. I made turkeys again this past Thanksgiving and I think they look more realistic than the one you purchased. I’m so sorry some of my earlier items haven’t stood up well. I promise the stuff I’ve made since looks better! That tea set is one of my favorite things I’ve made. Those are scones with clotted cream and jam - a very British thing. I’ve thought about releasing another tea set and making the items just a smidge bigger. That’s another thing - getting the 1:3 scale right. I’m excited to see what you make!

Dolly's Diningroom is my favorite. The first Doll food I bought was from Real Faux Food( she recently retired). I've bought from Stacey Morgan, and Minnie's Kitchen (not sure if that's the right name). I've made some doll food with Air Dry Clay. I'm really proud of my T- Bone steaks, and my turkey. I've made 3 different sized turkeys( 1 for my Pooh bear[ he' 10 inches and lives in my Little Tikes (Barbie) dollhouse, I made one for my Bff(her favorite holiday is Thanksgiving), and the third one was for my American Girl dolls. Also, for my Pooh bear, I made Dinner rolls, Mashed Potatoes and a Cobbler ( all from Air Dry Clay). I want to try to make Meatloaf. My dolls need more food. I don't like working with Polymer clay. Not a big fan of caning( mixing the colors),and baking it the oven, where we cook our food. Now, they make a Polymer Clay oven,reminds me of a Easy Bake Oven.

Dolly food is one of my favorite mini items to collect! You have so many nice pieces and not all sweets (I tend to feel that sweets get made more than savory. I’ve made quite a bit of my doll food using the wonderful Joanns18 inch dolls KZfaq channel. Her videos are so user friendly. I can’t wait to see what you make next.

Dang! I missed the live again. Me and my stupid time blindness. I got caught up organizing my kids’ clothes that they’ve outgrown into piles for donation and a big pile to take to a consignment shop and hopefully sell. I love doll food and you definitely have some good stuff. I think my favorites are those crepes - super impressive. The opera cakes are realistic btw, they are the type of cake that are supposed to be really precise.

I think your tea set where you weren’t for sure what it was. I think it is biscuits with jam and cream, but I could be wrong.

I love doll food, especially from etsy and similar creators! 😁😁😁😁 It's fun to make, too. I want to get back into making doll food. Lol about the pumpkin pie. Real pumpkin pie will do a similar thing sometimes (when you overcook it?). Some of those are so detailed. They're making me hungry. 😉

HI I think the item you showed with the holly Leafe falling off is an English Plum Pudding. I made several foods for my God Daughter I used an easy hack found on you tube that involves aluminum foil , tissue, modge podge and paint ... no baking. Not sure how long it will last but its been about 6 years so far.
