strange question, but when i strum the strings above the nut it sounds a little different. I am playing on a Les Paul, would this make a difference? thanks!

Na it shouldn't make a difference if you got a les Paul, more likely you don't have enough gain or maybe not hitting the strings right?

Can you explain the strumming pattern for the 2nd & 3rd string after the tapping part? I'm having trouble hearing it

Try slowing the speed down in the KZfaq video and seeing if you can hear it that way. My bad, might have rushed that part a bit

Can't seem to get the muted strums in the very first part right. if I implement them it just starts sounding messy :/

are you using your palm or left hand to mute while strumming? I can't tell.

@@back2thapast hmm not sure what part your talking about, but I don't palm mute any part I believe

@@back2thapast ohh I guess I kinda do put my right hand on the strings while also my right hand let's go of the frets at the same time if that makes sense

Scratching the strings is a “taint scratch”. It’s below the nut. Ur welcome.
