There is another thing that bugged me, Plucky has done bad things but eventually it turns out that he isn't that awful in the show. So Buster had to apologize three times to Plucky for misjudging him and it felt like he didn't really learn anything from it- I saw the spring break special and Plucky literally done nothing wrong except invite himself to Babs and Buster's home. Else he didn't do anything bad really, he even gave a plushie of himself to Babs and Buster because he doesn't know how to comfort others, when they pretended to be sick. (It's why Hamton was touched, when he got the plushie from Plucky) but Buster still acts as if Plucky was the worse and even says often times 'Don't they see, what we see?' like no, I don't even see it- Yes the writers tried to make him somewhat insufferable near the end of the episode to show. 'Oh look, he's still self absorbed right?' but I think it sort of falls flat in that special, considering Babs and Buster were even more selfish then Plucky himself, who may I add, the parents just forgot about the Spring Break and left the kid to be alone. Babs and Buster KNOW that Plucky was being mistreated, there are hints that he's insecure and not getting a lot of attention from his parents, which makes the twin just look awful in comparison. Buster learns, I don't know how many times already that Plucky likes him but still doesn't want to deal with him despite of the two having some things in common and showing that they do better as a team. The conflict Plucky and Buster feels pretty repetitive and I would like to see something else- like in the one episode in which Plucky was trying to teach Buster to tell the truth, even if Buster think that this is wrong because he doesn't want to hurt Sweetie's feelings but seems like Plucky was correct here. There is much potential to make the show dark or cynical with Plucky and Buster in the end has to stop him or teach him that it was a wrong thing to do. That way, it would make more sense as to why Buster can't stand Plucky and make the show more interesting. But no- they play this very safe- also not really big of a fan that Babs and Buster are twins, if you don't want the two to be an item just have them be platonic friends that also works.

I agree with what you said comparing it to the animaniacs reboots cuz dispite falling short in alot of areas that still had the edge that the OG had and the og tiny toons wasn’t the most boundary pushing show compared to og animaniacs it still was not without edge especially as it went on.

I'm a longtime fan of the original Tiny Toon Adventures series from 1990 who strongly prefers it to the Looniversity reboot. IMO, Looniversity is inferior to Adventures for the following reasons: 1. Babs and Buster Bunny being twin siblings. In the original series, Babs and Buster were an unrelated couple, hence the "No relation!" running gag. Making them twin siblings is like if Disney suddenly made Mickey and Minnie Mouse twins; it just doesn't work. "Twin-Con" was one of the hardest episodes I ever had to sit through for that reason. Also, their personalities seem to have been switched. In the original, Babs was the one who did impressions while Buster was laid-back and cool. Here, Babs seems to be the level-headed one while Buster is prone to comical outbursts. 2. A lack of variety in episodes and locations. The original series alternated between having three seven-minute shorts focusing on different characters and full twenty-two-minute episodes. There were also different locations where each episode took place, whether it was ACME Loo, the Toonsters' homes, Wackyland, or wherever the episode's antagonist was going to strike. In Looniversity, the action is largely limited to ACME Loo, with "Whatever Happened to Babsy Bunny?" seemingly being the one episode not to feature it. 3. A lack of gag credits and end tags in the closing credits sequence. Each episode of the original series had a different gag credit that usually corresponded with the episode's theme in the closing credits, such as "Istanbul - Not Consantinople" for Tiny Toons Music Television. There were also end tags featuring different characters, with my personal favorite being Elmyra's "Let the Show Begin!" because of how ironic it is. In Looniversity, there are no gag credits in the closing credits, only a select number of episodes have end tags in them, and even then, they're shown before the closing credits rather than after. My only reason for watching Looniversity is the hopes that someday Warner Bros. will bring the original series to the MAX streaming service and that Konami will bring their Tiny Toon Adventures games to modern consoles in a compilation like they did for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and are doing for Rocket Knight Adventures. While Looniversity is far from the worst reboot I've ever seen (there are definitely much crappier ones such as Teen Titans Go!, The Powerpuff Girls (2016), and Thomas and Friends: All Engines Go!), it's also far from the best (I consider both Muppet Babies (2018) and Rugrats (2021) better than it). Given the choice between Adventures and Looniversity, I'd pick Adventures hands down every time.

Fun fact: Tiny Toon Adventures was originally created as a clone of Muppet Babies and was originally called "Tiny Tunes".

Even the Animaniacs reboot isn't that forgettable compared to this. The only thing I can say about this reboot is that at least WB finally brought back Merlin. Also, the animation is the only great thing about the show.

when i first read an article about buster and babs new status quo, but the one i had hoped would be at least understandable departure was that we would sorry for Elmyra, so i assumed itwould be a misery parody, and wed get whole Elmyra is a lonely rich girl and after hearing bugs explain that should nice to their villains, or else they be doomed to be evil like Elmer Fudd.

I think the depression one is a good lesson. Considering he didn't say "I'll leave you alone next time you're sad" he says he'll just be there for her and listen instead of trying to "fix" her sadness. Which is really all one can do a lot of times. But overall it's taken me a week to get through just these first 3 episodes because it feels like something I'm "getting through" instead of an enjoyable show. It would be nice if they went to the shorts with wrap arounds format of the old show, but that would highlight how dull and unfunny the show is. One change I dont mind is buster and babs being siblings. With the exception of episodes specifically about them dating, like going to prom or whatever, which were few, their relationship was more friends/co-hosts anyway. OG tiny toons was incredibly horny, which I get, they're hormonal teens, but I can do with less animal kids wanting to bang each other.

I honestly think it’s still a better reboot then the animaniacs is a reboot, mostly cause the way they handled current culture stuff I thought was cringe and poorly done, looniversity stays away from that which I like. Although I do agree the episodes can be too predictable Of course the original is still better however looniversity does give some characters that got little attention in the original more personality. For example, sweetie has more personality and character then from the original IMO. The bunnies being twin’s doesn’t bother me too much although I understand it downplays the jokes from the original. And the recast doesn’t bother me although Montana max voice actor definitely should’ve been brought back like elmyra The one thing I wish this reboot would do is explore the other characters lives more! Furball, calamity, Fifi, and the others NEED episodes of their own!!

It's a good show both the original and the reboot and say it should get canceled ok that's basically like you wanting a ton of people to lose there jobs and want Animation to get screwed again you dont like the show just don't watch but please don't wish anything bad on the staff that make it for a living

I agree that this reboot is bad as 2016 PPG but at least it got better characters design and animation than PPG, Ben10 and Teen Titans Reboots, even better design and animation than Ducktales 2017 reboot which is one of te best reboots that ever made because the awesome storyline, plot and Characters personality.
