Tarragona is the capital of the Tarragona Province in Catalonia Spain. It’s located in the northeastern coastline. This city has a whopping 2400 years of history, it’s been through a lot. Nowadays, many historical landmarks are still sitting among people’s daily life, just like those we can see in this video: the Circ Romà from 1st century, the Tarragona Amphitheatre from 2nd century. Beside those, the view walking in Tarragona is also great. Hope you like this tiny tour.

Last saw Tarragono 28 years ago and it was a beautiful city in which to wander around. The Circus was amazing, you could almost smell the horseflesh in the stalls where horses were kept. We had stopped along side a hotel late at night to get our bearings and the chef came out, took our bags out of the car and told us we were staying there....the American Hotel!!! He took us to our room, brought us sandwiches and drinks and said we would settle up everything in the morning. We stayed there a week while we saw the city and he cooked breakfast for us everyday. We had flown in that morning, driven from Madrid and we were happy to have this wonderful Spanish chef take care of us!! I think the famous head of the Gorgon in tile is in the museum there.

So pretty i love it its not too crowded compare to Mallorca. This is just right for me a bit peaceful i should visit this place .

Can you tell me what month you filmed this? The city is relatively empty for it being pre-COVID.

Hi, it's filmed in early September 2019. It looks quite empty probably because it's around lunch time.😀

@@BABeenHere Thanks! I had planned to spend the entire summer of 2020 in Spain, so videos like this have been my substitute. I'm hoping the EU gets their act together and issues "vaccine passports" for foreigners like me so I can go this year. 😎
