The AI looks amazing. Also its gonna be fun to approach the same objective with a lot of different ways. Will be interesting to see how the AI learns as more people play it. Super Excited!!!

I really love how this new art style kinda mixes the realism of the alphas and the cartoonish look of the betas and full game and the ai looks stunning even for a early gameplay teaser

ok this game looks genuinely good and i personally hated the first one - the graphics look great giving it a Horror Atmosphere but still keeping the cartoony elements people loved that made the first game looks so unique - the game has actual stealth mechanics unlike the first game and it looks like it wont rely as much on platforming - it looks like it will be filled with situations that are actually scary and suspenseful - the different ways to solve problems and puzzles look like they could be very fun to figure out without being overly frustrating - the environment and map looks like it will be fun to explore - the AI has definitley been improved and looks like it will be fun to go against - it looks like there will be way more of a story then in the first game overall the game looks like its trying to be closer to the original concept of the first game which is great because its a great concept that the first game kind of abandoned/ruined

This will be fun because of how hard it could be.I’m still hoping for a chase or running time like from the first game

I love how the Ai plays trick on the player, like how Peterson dropped the crowbar is bait. And once you grab it he catches you. Looking forward to the final release.

As cool as this looks, I do hope they don't make it so the neighbor just resets you when he catches you. I liked how the guest drags you out of your house and scatters your items everywhere. If he wanted something in your inventory, it felt more stress-inducing when he was near you. Other than that the AI looks pretty good! And so does the house, I just hope the textures aren't low resolution the whole time.

I wouldn't call this a "deep dive", but the gameplay looks cool.

I'm really hoping the AI is as good as this video shows, I really want Hello Neighbor 2 to be a good game.

Really enjoying the new artstyle! looks much more realistic AND cartoonish would also love to see a Hello Neighbor 2 Modkit sometime in the future, i think being able to make mods for an actually SCARY Hello Neighbor Game would be amazing! Can't wait for the final game!

A little disappointing, considering it's meant to be a "Deep Dive" yet it doesn't quite feel like one and there are some noticeable errors, however it was nice to see some actual gameplay finally. I fully respect the game and it's devs and I hope they take their time with the game itself.

Loving the look of the gameplay! I can't lie though, that short look at it felt somewhat staged, the way all the mechanics were being shown as if the guy has no idea they'd work... I dunno, but hey if the final game plays like this it'll be amazing!

Probably scripted but if the full game is anything like this then its a worthwhile purchase. Edit: According to devs and other tinybuild workers this gameplay is actually real and not scripted at all. Wow, the game looks amazing. I could definitely see this small house escape section as a demo for hn2.

So, the game is going to be what it initially had to be from the beginning of series - a stealth horror game. Glad to see it, because the first game was like a preview for a KZfaq Kids video. Looking forward to play 2-nd installment.

i'm so used to demo's Birdman it's weird seeing Mr. Peterson walking about. i don't know what the story will be just yet, but i gotta say i'm looking forward to seeing Birdman more than anything (if it'll be in the game). it's such a new, fresh character & the whole demo sets up the game so perfectly i actually can't imagine playing the game that doesn't start off where demo does lol i'll miss the house & the layout of the neighbourhood, but hopefully the full Hello Neighbour 2 game will expand on the demo so we don't miss out on what we've been playing all this time waiting for full release to finally arrive.

Tiny build is definitely working on this game the graphics and everything look way different like how they showed in trailers but we need a release date when I really hope it's going to be sometime around Halloween

One thing for sure is that Mr Peterson seems to be way smarter now like what he did with the crowbar was actually good. Like he suspected that the player was hiding there so he left the crowbar on the floor, player grabs it and it's game over. PERFECT! can't wait to play it

The Ai is so Improved now I am extremely impress like finnaly the ai can trick the people like neighbor just pretending to sleep and then the player sneeks and then he looks behind and the neighbor is standing so much improved love this

See this.. THIS has potential. The first game had potential but messed it up, I'm possitive you guys won't make the same mistake and make the puzzles actually clearer to understand

Because the neighbor's AI is so glitchy in the first game, I totally believed he'd just take out the crowbar and then randomly drop it on the ground and leave. I certainly didn't expext him to trick you like that.

I honestly was really shocked when he dropped the crowbar in a specific place and used it for bate to lead the player out of the hiding spot, this is some good AI! Great job

You guys should fix that weird pause in-between when he catches you and when the catch animation actually plays.

My son just turned 7 and loves the Hello Neighbor games. After watching him play the original, I played it and ended up liking it too. So I'm looking forward to playing the sequel too. I'll never forget the first time I got to Act 3. I broke one of Mr. Peterson's windows and he chased me across the street. I decided to watch him from my side of street for a little while to see what he would do. He walked back across the street and stood in his yard exercising for a minute. When he was finished, he walked over to his front door like he was going back inside his house. But instead of just walking through an open front door, like a normal homeowner would, he grunted, walked over to his perfectly intact living room window, and jumped through it to get back inside his house. I thought it was hilarious since a broken window was what made him flip out in the first place lol. Hopefully Mr. Peterson will up to his old shenanigans in the sequel.

The whole planting key items for the player would’ve been so good

Idea: First get the crowbar the normal way, either with the key or the paint can trick. Then, when the neighbor goes upstairs, switch the TV channel to make the neighbor fall asleep. Finally, use the crowbar to destroy all the boards while the neighbor is asleep.

This is really good so far! However, I do have a few criticisms. Let's start off with the things I like first though. First off, the new music! I like it a lot. Not as good as the pre-alpha near sound cues we got but it's still neat! And I don't know where to start with the chase music because holy hell it's so good! Way better than the pre-alpha to alpha 1 chase music. 2nd, the atmosphere and graphics! They're so good! It definitely feels like a massive step up to the failed first game. The atmosphere combined with amazing graphics and music just adds up to the creepy tone! 3rd, the new animations! The animation of the neighbor using the crowbar in the attic is weirdly pleasing to look at. And finally, the amazing new AI. HN2 probably won't end up like the first game. The neighbor is finally back to being a fucking smartass now! Using baits and traps to catch the player is so clever! I also remember in the AI trailer where the neighbor can literally throw a box to a lever to trap you in and it learning overtime with your behavior. It's just so good! But now here we have the criticisms. First off, there's a bunch of obvious errors. The first one is like the neighbor looking at the player for a second awkwardly and grabbing you after when you get caught. Second, at 0:50 the neighbor surprisingly didn't see you. Third, the neighbors feet clipping through the stairs and the floor at the garage scene. Tiny mistake, but I know you should fix it. Fourth, the game itself is genuinely creepy, but not super creepy unlike Pre-Alpha. I think it's a good idea to add up more horror aspects. Making it more exciting and fun to play. Take a look at the Pre-Alpha. It's simple but super scary. Fifth, it kinda bothers me. I like the idea of the AI constantly learning with experiences and your behavior, but will there be a point that the AI will become too smart that the game is literally too hard to play which is unfun? Or maybe even impossible. I wanna know what the devs are gonna do with it. It doesn't really feel like a deep dive at all as well, but still really neat. Yet again, this following gameplay shown is still a work on progress and we don't know how the full game is gonna be. Anyways,I really like how this is looking so far and I'm having high hopes for it. Just please don't mess it up like the first game. Great job and thank you for taking the time to make the game good as possible!

Hey there! Please take as much time as you need developing the game, this has such great potential, it combines all of the aspects the very first alphas had! Although i didn't really like the final release (2017) i believe that this game can make things right! Again, take as much time as you need!
