In actual history. Gan Ning would've been dead at this point, DW6 stayed true to that in Ling Tong's musou mode

Lex Lang totally kept his Sanosuke Sagara personality when he played Ling Tong. He was perfect for the role better than David Lodge and his awful DW9 voice.

They swore brotherhood during the battle of He Fei when Gan Ning rescued Ling Tong while he was having a duel and almost lost his life by a cheap arrow shot.

If I remembered correctly: To get Gan ning 4th weapon you have to kill both Ling Tong and his father and to get Ling Tong 4th you have to let Gan Ning save you?

For Ling Tong’s weapon, you had to defeat Zhang Liao in all his 4 appearances at He Fei.
