Meet Tia, a nonprofit director who lives in a 3-bedroom tiny house with her service dog & new kitten--33 sqm / 360 sqft plus the lofts. It's full of practical features and pops of green & blue. All the bedrooms are standing height, including 2 standing lofts & a downstairs bedroom currently used as a home office. Tia carefully chose this tiny house layout so she has room to grow as her needs change. It's off-grid capable with a full solar power system. She hopes to buy affordable raw land one day, so the solar will help her save money in the long run. For now, Tia loves living at the Namastay Hideaway tiny home community in North Texas.

Tia has been searching for homes in north Texas she can afford, in an area that she likes, with more yard than house. Nothing seemed to fit the bill so decided to commission a tiny house on wheels. 😮 we are trying to help a lot of people to live in a tiny space. Really like your home really would like to see if I could find out a couple things what do you put under your bed and what do you do to access it and where does the heating elements and gas and all that go venting and gas to heat your water and I see you have one of those split things can you enclose those on the outside in case you don't like what they look like and do they make is there a part of it that goes on the outside of your house can you can close that also? Does your tub have Jets indoor massagers Jets massagers bubbles any of that and also any restrictions on watering showering dishes those sort of things that you run into and you end up with anything that you hate about it all? Of all the tiny home builders out there, Indigo River seems to understand better what it takes to make a tiny home livable long term. This home with two stand up bedrooms and the great closet storage checks those boxes. I love this home.

It should be 6’3”-6’4” We have had folks up to 6’4” say they can stand up straight on the high side of our stand-up lofts.

This is one of the best designs I have ever seen. I am addicted to the tiny house shows and I also love spending weeks in my fifth wheel camper. I constantly say that I could live in it and it is only 390 square feet, has two bedrooms and 1.5 baths and tons of storage. ANother thing I love about this design is a wardrobe in all the bedrooms addressing the need to store clothes, a tub/shower combination for washing a pet or grandbabies, full size kitchen, office alternative, and MOSTLY, that you can stand in all the bedrooms, amazing design, love it!

This tiny house truly lives large. I like it- she didn’t have to hunch over or climb ladders when she went up to the bedrooms. The bathroom was a full size room. I saved this one for the future. Excellent job!!

This is the tiny home I would like. Because if you don’t need an office, the downstairs bedroom could be your living/pullout bed. You can have the pop up table still plus a cute little dining table and area.

Folks have been contacting us for the floor plan. This is our signature Bunkhouse design with the 2 up/down bedrooms nestled together like L’s in Tetris. Then the 3rd bedroom can be a stand-up loft or a gooseneck room. Or you can do both for a 4 bedroom Bunkhouse! One customer used the gooseneck option to make a “master suite” in her IRTH Bunkhouse. Our channel is love production value but we give a tour of each home before it’s delivered so you can see her iteration of the Bunkhouse a few houses back. Lol spell check - that was supposed to be LOW production value but LOVE is more accurate. ❤️ Thanks for the kind comments everyone! Heaps of love right back atcha! ❤

This is one of the best and most functional tiny house designs I have ever seen. Love that it has standup height lofts and a downstairs room that can be turned into a bedroom if the owner needs it if climbing stairs gets too difficult at some point. Like Tia, I'm a fan of the blue/green color scheme! Lovely home!

I absolutely love Indigo River and this house is a great example of why they would be my choice of a house builder - if only they were in Australia! :-) Tia's home is just beautiful and I don't think it seems cramped at all. I would love it to be 10 feet wide but otherwise it's perfect and the colours are too.

Her dog is so precious. Didn't see much of the kitten but she was adorable too. Such a great home. The cost was pretty steep for this TH, and it would have been interesting to know if she ended up with a personal loan or a lender who loaned on a TH purchase.

If you put skirting around the bottom of your home and put a tiny heater on low underneath it will keep your floors warm and will help you on your heating bill and also it will help to prevent your pipes from freezing. The skirting also hides your items being stored underneath.

Good suggestions! Though, with well-insulated trailer and floor system that quality-built tiny houses have, a heater under the floor shouldn’t be necessary. Side note: heated floors are wonderful & low efficiency too!

Bathroom... with washer dryer...good size bath tub...and normal toilet... Kitchen Comple everything...fridge normal size....good size sink....lot of kitchen storage under stairs.. 3 bed rooms 1 at ground and 2 loft bed rooms ....with stand up space....wardrobs and fullsize bed.... Lots of greenery inside.... What else someone wants....in tiny house....even some of flats even dont have so much featutes like this tiny house.... Smartly designed and decorated. ....

Thank you for all those kind words! I’m a sucker for contrast. The painting on the bottom left was done by an amazing professional. That was actually her first time painting a human - she normally had painted horses and landscapes. The big one on the left I had painted in one of those fun painting class events. I’m actually terrible at anything art related, they just made it super doable!

Love the layout. Pretty Litter cat litter is non odor. Works great! Last 3 weeks to a month. Just thought to share. No more litter smell. Doesn't bother my asthma. 😊I have less issues since getting Pretty Litter.
