Man I love how other devs are getting over the fact that Nintendo has great ideas but they're not sacred - It's OK to work on a pokemon clone, or a paper mario clone, or now a pikmin clone. There are places Nintendo is unprepared to go creatively and it's awesome seeing indie devs take these brilliant core gameplay conceits and take them to bizarre and hilarious new places. I'm very excited for this one.

This man's voice is so nice that I stop really paying attention to what he's actually saying and just listen to the nice rhythm of it while watching the video. I guess I missed most of his points but the vibes were immaculate.

I downloaded this last night and spent a couple hours playing the first level. Got instantly hooked, and I would NOT finish the level until I found the very last of the “dust bunnies” which had me searching over the room 5 times over until I found the little nook on top of the tv that I passed by over and over again lol. I stayed up too late, and now I’m eagerly awaiting getting home to play level 2!

Im not seeing any paper Mario. More like Pikmin mixed with a Mario platformer. It especially reminds me of sunshine. Pikmin was the first thing that came to mind, though.

This is one of those games I got for my kids on Game Pass, then proceeded to play until 3 in the morning. Very lighthearted, lots of fun, great animation, and puzzles that were challenging but not too challenging. 10/10

Completely agree but I very definitely downloaded it on Gamepass for myself 😂 finished it at about 4 this morning! Fantastic little game. Would never have even thought about it if I hadn’t seen it mentioned on Twitter , so glad I saw that post

I only heard about this game earlier today- and now you guys are reviewing it. I dig the style and I like that it's pikmin like with more verticality. Great to hear that it holds up, definitely jumping to top of my to buy list.

It's a bit odd to see 2D character sprites in an otherwise 3D game, but I'm surprised how well it works from a graphical standpoint.

I enjoyed the demo but at least the Switch version has a weird lag on the jump button which makes platforming quite clunky and frustrating.

Same for me! Loved the demo, but the jump is so fast and awkward. I'll wait for a sale or a fix.

I played through the game on Xbox Series via GamePass so I didn't have any frame rate issues. I spent about 12 hours beating the game and doing some of the side quests. I'm guessing I could put another 5 or so hours into it. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and glad it was on GamePass because it's a game I probably would have missed otherwise. My kids like to play on the go and will be picking it up on Switch. I think $25 is more than fair for a fun, well made game where you'll spend a good bit of time just exploring with a smile on your face.

It's actually more like a collect-a-thon 3D platformer like Mario 64 or Hat in Time--you do collect and throw small creatures to solve puzzles, but there's no real strategy involved in managing that resource. Instead, the fun is exploring the areas to find more creatures, which lets you access new areas, which gets you more creatures, which lets you access more areas...and so on.

I'm guessing the elbow grease put into the presentation overrided the Critic in them this time, guess the game-feel was that good the repetitive collectathon was fun. Nice
