Nice! I'm not really sure how long it's going to take to get accepted. I got on the list on March 14, and haven't had any updates. The email I received says they prioritize people who have used the APIs before (I have), and people who have submitted model evaluations (I haven't). So I guess just cross your fingers and hope for something soon! 😊

I understand! I know OpenAI has said they're trying to get the price lower and/or offer more functionality on the free version (openai.com/blog/chatgpt-plus). Hopefully that's true! 😊

@@TinyTechnicalTutorials for example, if I have taken a photo of complex mathematical derivation from a physics textbook by using smart phone and uploaded to chatgpt version 4 and asked to analyse it and simplified it. Then whether it would analyse and simplified it or not?

I'm not 100% sure, but it seems likely. I've seen a couple of examples where it's shown photos, then asked to describe what action would happen in the photo. For example, there was one photo that had a boxing glove hanging by a string from the ceiling. When asked what would happen if the string broke, GPT-4 said it would fall to the floor. So it seems really smart about "understanding" pictures. I would imagine that it would take your math picture, convert it into text, and then explain it as if you had entered it as text. Hopefully we can all try out the image functionality soon!

In the organic chemistry chapter, for example chemical structures, reactions like CH3COOH, C2H5 , C6H12O6 and so on. these are mentioned like structural form in the textbook. these structural forms are not convertible into text format. This is my problem. How to overcome it. Please help me

Ahh, okay. I'm not sure if it would be able to read them in as images and then analyze them. The GPT-4 image functionality is still in "preview" mode so there's really no way to test it yet. 😕
