I have been spending so much time in the sim practicing dives on the city maps. It's not easy at all. Watching you do this was incredible!

The mob8 is amazing, love mine. It does and doesn't feel as a tinywhoop at the same time. I only fly it on 2s tho.

Try 250hz or even 150hz for extra range. Use the preset for whatever you choose (lower is more range) and choose the option "hd freestyle" 👍

You're a brave man!! I just got the DJI Avata 2 with the Goggles im stoked because I have been using other DJI drones and always wanted to do FPV. But I am still sketch and scared to not use the goggles in certain places. As a Droner when I drone in L.A. by the time i put the drone down and lift off ill already have 2 or 3 people watching what im doing, by the time im flying and coming back from landing it could still have 2 to 3 but now a homeless dude or 2. As soon as I land there have been a few times dudes want to grab my drone and i have to grab it first or sometimes i do hand catches. I keep thinking with these on im going to get sucker punched and robbed as people know I cant see with the headset on. My plan is to only use this if i have access to a parking lot or rooftop in the city, and figured this was mostly going to be my beach and nature drone. I also have lost 1 drone by setting it down and having to fiddle with my controller binding and as I was concentrating on that someone grabbed it and ran. Anyways again you are a brave man, I do plan on doing some FPV around L.A. and have parking structures and rooftops in mind but still to do it at ground level to me is more nuts. Also im the dude thats never "Lackin" and still gets jacked lol

Insane. Saying that when i got my Mob7 I flew low out over 500m and signal everything was perfect. I did upgrade the VTX antenna to one of those lightweight helical ones also

That's crazy when you are diving the side of the Empire State Building how it seems to fall forever! It must be hitting terminal velocity, and being so light probably any updrafts are slowing its descent. Combine that with the overall height of the building, and it just seems to dive and dive and dive some more.

The biggest structure I've ever dove was maybe 150 feet. It seemed to happen a lot quicker, for sure. Diving from near the top of the spire is almost 10 times that. Crazy!

That’s really impressive, Change your link packet frequency to 50hz though, you don’t need the latency saving using 500hz gives you for building dives, it probably won’t fix your telemetry lost though unless you get one of the big power telemetry receivers. I’d love to try that here on Big Ben or the Shard but I’m so scared of getting arrested, the Police in London are constantly on edge and last year a mate of mine had an armed response unit roll up on him for flying in a park lol.

Nice man!! I wish my tinywhoop was still with me, the chassis cracked and while i was rehousing it 2 of the motors wires just broke when i touched them from sitting out for so long. Haven’t done FPV since :/

Your patch antenna is pointing horizontally from your goggles - although your video link seemed to stay pretty good on this occasion don't forget to aim the patch antenna at the quad if you're worried about range. Awesome video 👍

This video made my day brother,, Btw, If you want distance with a whoop dont use linear whip antennas. Use a circular on both your whoop and goggles. And use as big of a T antenna as you can for your ELRS. Either that or use crossfire,.
