Tip Bits : Glue or Epoxy? (Gorgs anyone?) with Julian Sprung

For this episode, we had the master of Two Little Fishies, Julian Sprung himself to come out to Afishionado Headquarters to demonstrate when and how to use cyanoacrylate (CorAffix) and underwater epoxy (AquaStik) on your new corals.
This is by far the longest video that I have ever made and I intentionally kept it at this length (original footage was close to 1 hour and 50 minutes) and the reason for that is because if you know Julian, even his jokes are informational and I wanted to spread the knowledge and give you guys a chance to see how Julian is in person outside of the speaking arrangements.

Its always good to hear from Julian and the tricks he use to glue corals. He just encouraged me to glue some of my gorgonians which i keep in the corner (less flow) on the main stream rock work now. Thanks for sharing this info reefs.

GREAT VIDEO! It's awesome to see how the pros do things! Glad to see I was using CorAffix and AquaStik correctly. You got some great corals from Julian as well! (Partial to the acros)

Should I scrub the rock at all before trying to glue the frags/frag plugs down?

Julian, when you say you brought it back from Spain, did you bring it with you or somehow ship it overnight? If you traveled hours with it, how did you do that?

yes, it's a camera and coralvue has them.

Because I didn't want the focal point of the channel to be about my tank but more geared towards educational contents. But I have been changing my mind lately and have been posting bits and pieces of the new build. Check out the vlog videos on the Playlist. You will see some updates on the new tank.

@@Reefscom cool, I completely understand. Almost every reef channel focuses on their personal tanks. It would be nice to see some of your stuff though. Anyway, love the channel.

@@ct2368 yea, I have been getting some requests from fellow hobbyists like yourself so I have been posting little by little lately. Once the ugly stage completely passes, I will do a proper build video on the new tank.
