I understand how Carrie Soto is back may seem uninteresting, but I just finished reading it and I think it’s a really well written book (especially if you like to see character growth in the books you read). I also think she did an amazing job with writing Carrie Soto’s emotions and feelings. I would love to see you reading it soon

I adore the Once Upon A Broken Heart series, but I also really enjoyed Stephanie’s writing in all of the Caraval books as well, it might just not be for you!

Swear on This Life is one of my absolute favorites!! It deals with overcoming childhood trauma in addition to the romance story and has some nice quotes. The story within a story is cool. I read it years ago before similar books cropped up, none of them totally measured up to SOTL for me. And I have Tweet Cute on my kindle and keep telling myself I need to read soon!

I read stalking Jack the Ripper when it came out, and it’s one of my favourite books!! Love the mystery & the romance

i myself have generally only heard good reviews of the assassin’s blade, but i can see how it being a prequel short story collection may not float some people’s boats. i gave it 4.5 stars when i read it, and i thought it was a really wonderful collection of short stories that were genuinely very enjoyable and only added depth to the experience! i wouldn’t let the negative reviews hinder me :)

Stalking Jack the Ripper is one of my all time favorite series!! It is soooo good. I love the plot and storyline, the setting and the characters. Such a unique twist on classically known stories both fiction and real.

I love Naomi Novick’s writing. ❤ The Schoolmance Trilogy is great and so is Uprooted. Spinning Silver is next on my list.

You should cover a bunch of books but only the front, back and spine of the book. Number them and pick a random one and read it but because it's covered you don't know what book your reading and once you've finished the book you can try and guess what book it is, the genre, the title and then unwrap the book revealing what it actually was to see how close you were.

I love unwrapping books. It is so fun. I am doing a 24 days of Bookmas this year with a bunch of holiday/wintery books off my shelves. Just wrapped them tonight. Hope you enjoy the books you chose.

The author of A Curse So Dark and Lonely is one of my favorite authors. Brigid wrote the Defy the Night series (one of my favorites), and Letters to the Lost, another favorite. Highly recommend her work!

The girl of fire and thorns is such a classic fantasy novel! Was very very hyped back on 2015 Booktube. Read this book back at that time and it has still heavily stuck with me to this day and is still very close to my heart. Highly highly recommend

i loved the assassin’s blade! i read it after heir of fire and it was my favorite in the series out of those first 4. they’re not really “short stories” since they all continue off each other in chronological order. it was the first time i really felt connected to celaena and kind of wish i read it first in the series. don’t sleep on it!!!

The assassins blade is soooo good!!! The five short stories are in chronological order and it honestly reads more like a full book instead of five stories

The Cursebreakers series was so surprising to me, because I thought it'd be like a rushed written YA fantasy, but it was so good (I only got annoyed with one character in the second and third books) but after I had to read Forging Silver into Stars (which might be my favorite book of the year). Then I read Defy the Night and Defend the Dawn and loved them. Basically Kemmerer is becoming one of my favorite authors. Afterwards, I was in a reading slump because I couldn't find anything that held my attention and made me excited the way they did so I switched genres for a month and half and now I'm currently rereading favorite books to get over that slump 🙃 (Bad books don't put me in slumps but rather really good books do)

OMG I just binged Once Upon a Broken Heart and The Ballad of Never After and I think you’ll enjoy them!! I gave Caraval 4 stars, Legendary 3 stars, and Finale 5 stars, which I think is similar to how you rated them in a previous video, so I think you’ll really enjoy Once Upon a Broken Heart! The first one is a little bit slow in the beginning because it’s setting up the new story with the new character, but omg once you get to The Ballad of Never After it’s so fast paced and crazy stuff will happen!! Can’t wait to see your review!!
