I love the video. Well done. Here's a tip I would like to share, when adding adhesive sheets to any panel, peel away about an inch of the backing paper and apply the sticky side to the top of the panel. Then slowly peel back the rest of the backing sheet while smoothing the adhesive to the panel as you go. This method makes it so much easier to apply the adhesive on straight with no bubbles.

I was scared of using alcohol inks for a long time.... Until one day I just sat and played and played. I practiced on a tile first...... Then I used Yupo paper. I do wish I would have known about craft plastic from Graphix. I would have saved so much money LOL! Thanks so much for watching.

@mayloo21372 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the suggestion of putting down the blending solution first. I have yupo paper and alcohol inks. This technique using vellum is new. I find it easier to find vellum than yupo paper, so I will look for it when I can.

I was so excited to get my hands on a bunch of colours of alcohol pearls when they came out, but was underwhelmed by my results. Didn’t think the issue could have been using iso instead of straight up blending solution!! Thanks for the tip!
@Tiffany.Solorio2 жыл бұрын
When I first got them I used isopropyl and was so frustrated. Then after about a year I tried them with blending solution and the work amazing!!! Thanks so much! I hope it helps!

@@Tiffany.Solorio That info is a huge help, Tiffany! I couldn’t understand why the pearls wouldn’t move properly and would just ‘chunk up’. I’m breaking out my Pearls right now! Thanks again. 👍😀

Hey! I've an idea! The way you use the ink lift... why couldn't we use some felt, cut it close to size and then, any small die we have, say maybe a leaf or flower cut the felt and stick it on there and lift actual shapes here and there from the inked background?
@Tiffany.Solorio2 жыл бұрын
Oh this is a great idea.

Could you use an embossing gun on low instead of the hair dryer?
@Tiffany.Solorio2 жыл бұрын
Yes you can. I do find a regular hair dryer even on low pushes out too much air. It could be the one I have so I would give it a try. Thanks so much for watching! I appreciate it.
