200 hours are not that much for Civ. i have now about 2200 hours and i know now, that i was so bad when i had about 500 hours gametime, its because civ is a game where you can always find new things and strats. Keep up and dont get mad when soemthing dont work well, i saw lot of people stop playing this game because its too "slow" or not rewarding enough. :) Have a nice day

That does screw up a lot of peoples thinking, though it's the sports team that are pronouncing their name wrong. They are named after the Celts, because of all the Irish in Boston with Celtic ancestry.

Ideal Gaming I picked this game up again to see what how effective SAMs might be against them. Turns out, not very. Even though you can use them to intercept stealth bombers. The best way to stop nukes, push for the nuclear nonproliferation treaty before *Gandhi* gets them.

In case you still haven't figured this out, the most likely explanation that I can think of is that the horses aren't in your civ's territory, which is why you can't construct a tile improvement on that hex.

The AI straight up cheats on Deity. You almost HAVE to do crap like this to win some of the scenario settings on Deity and even then it's a pain. This is just leveling the playing field against their nonsense and even using methods like this you still will have to beat your head against RNG

I was also confused at first but this is what I got out of it: When your population grows the tile where the new citizen will go the next turn is going to give its yields as if it was being worked the turn before it was going to get the citizen and by setting your city to the production focus you can build things faster.

Both are derivated from the Latin "Celtae" used in the Old Roman Empire until taking "up to date" by the different European cultures, wich local spelling then adapted the to fit the locution of their respectives languages ; French prononce "Celts" with a "S" sound, as the English do, but Germans prononces it "Kelts" with a "K" sound. However since the global locution of "S" was found in more languages than the "K" (Italia, France, England, Spain, etc.), it's standard prononciation became wordly known and spelled as "Celts". In short, it simply a matter of taste of how people wishes to spell and say it.

Sean L nah, it sounds daft. you'll hear 'sel'-tic pronounced in english as reference to the FC but english is a germanic language. it's almost exclusively pronounced 'kel'-tic.
