Watching you and Landon is great. My son is now 27 and we are still doing adventures together in the wild. He became a fisheries and wildlife biologist so he has it bad. Great stuff, keep it up. BTW, he will be taking the rod away from you pretty soon, all good.

On that double hook rig for the big bait, I like the way you exposed that single hook. I use a treble hook and and sink on hook into the back side of the bait and which leaves the other two hooks exposed.

great video as always hagen. day catfishin hasn't been to good but late night is doing good my buddy tournament fishes and the pics i see on facebook show some between 30-60 lbs. the pleasure boats and jetskis are running nuts but i love watching you n landon! we don't have skipjack here but we got some big gizzard shad they are tough to get but i'm learning to throw my new net.

I recently found your channel. I love that you include your son as part of your fishing.. May I ask what Bimini top you have on your boat? I have a center console myself and the Bimini top I purchased is clearly not tall enough for when I stand up at the helm and drive the boat.

Trolling motor in this situation, but I do use drift socks while anchoring on a windy day or drifting with little to no current, just to keep the boat straight . Thanks so much for watching

They make a rocket launcher that bolts to the back of your Bemini top . You can find them for round $70 on eBay . Helps keep the net and any rods your not using up and out of the way .

I bounce around a lot just because it’s all about the same distance. I fish cannelton, Mcalpine and markland pools. I also fish the Kentucky river a lot but it is tough this time of year. Thank you for watching👍

I like to face into the current and use the trolling motor to slow down to .5 or so depending on current speed. Thank you for watching 👍
