Mines are a good thing to protect your back, C4 is useful to blow up stairs that enemies can get to you. *Always try to have a position above the place you want to shoot at, but don't choose obvious camping positions such as a flat roof or the top of a large boulder. Sometimes you can camp on an obvious spot, but then use obstacles you can build to protect yourself. *Always try to shoot through various holes, next to branches, trees or boulders and other obstacles, you will be much harder to detect and counter-sniping against you will be less effective. *When shooting through a window, shoot from the depth of room. Do not stand next to the window itself. You can place a sandbag and NOT build it and then place another and build on top of it for a sandbag with holes at head level. You can stack sandbags like this 2-3 times at most from my experience (used them for climbing)

Today, I did some more testing with the M200 and L96 rifles and discovered that, despite what the stats say, the M200 actually has a much faster bolt speed than the L96, regardless of attachments. I believe this could be a bug or some issue specific to the M200, as other sniper rifles perform as expected. The test: I fired seven bullets as quickly as possible while timing it. Without any attachments, the M200 completed the task in ~10.1 seconds, while the L96 took ~11.0-11.2 seconds. With attachs, their times reduced by ~0.5 seconds, maintaining a 0.8-1.0s gap. This means that the L96 only comes out ahead when considering its 15-bullet magazine compared to the M200's 7-bullet magazine and slightly longer aim down time. It's definitely a significant advantage for the M200. I hope the developers either adjust the visual stats or, indeed, lower the M200's bolt speed, as this, along with other factors, makes it feel like the dominant sniper by far and obvious choice whatever the playstyle.

HEY one correction, it is not the only weapon the game, that benefits from long barrel not even sniper, the ak 15, (probably others) pushes dps into better headshot ttks its very noticeable playing with long barrel
