You can do a preliminary OFA done on your young dogs after 12 months. They will give an evaluation on the dog's joints and then you know before 24 months if the dog will be a good candidate for breeding. They will suggest you do the actual evaluation after 24 months.

Great video! How many times do you recommend dogs tie to have a successful litter and do you keep the male and female together after mating or separate them?

We like to see them tie at least twice. We have our own stud so that’s easy to schedule. We let them separate on their own and let them breed every other day. We don’t want the sperm count to get diluted.
