Extra pro tip for the level 45 task: hang on to a super rocket radar and hunt Giovanni fake grunts. Remember to turn off the radar just before the midnight, noon, 6 am and 6pm rocket balloons to guarantee leader or grunt encounters from the balloon.

Some extra tips: 1) For extra XP, host local raids on apps like Poke Genie. This allows you to beat harder raids even without a friend group, as up to 5 others will remotely join you. For each person that joins you, this will count as an interaction and they will become 'Good Friends', rewarding you with an extra 3k XP each. So legendary and mega raids can get you 25k XP (10k + 5x 3k friendship) each time. Double if you lucky egg. 2) For Power up a Legendary Pokemon 20 times, you can use Meltan who you can get regular and XL candy for very easily by opening its box every 3 days. 3) For 'Power up 3 Pokemon to their max CP', firstly you can combine this with point 2, if you had a Meltan with good IVs and decided to power that single legendary Pokemon up 20 times; this Meltan/Melmetal may be relatively close to max CP. Secondly, as you progress up to level 47, pick some Pokemon that you want to level up to maximum anyway but stop levelling them up one stop before their maximum (so level 49.5). Tag them to keep track of them and once you reach this level 47 task, you only need to level up these 3 Pokemon once, by which time you should have ample XL candy accrued, and the stardust cost would be minimal.

I’m literally about to hit level 40 probably tomorrow this was a huge help, the real grind starts now 😂

The later tasks aren't so daunting when you realize it's gonna take a long time to get the cp requirements in the first place

The most important tip for any level trainer in Pokémon go is to learn how to make excellent curveball throws and practice them so you get really good at them to be able to gain a lot of xp a day! Also just taking a little walk to earn xp really helps!

Don’t forget meltan counts as mythical/legendary so you can power up low level meltan and even catching them count towards the 43 requirements

Finding this channel so early in my Pokémon go journey (only started playing this January) has really helped level up my knowledge and serves almost as a tutorial for the game 😂 the game itself doesn’t really teach you how to play it so this has been invaluable & the way the videos are presented are really engaging & fairly easy to follow

Extra tip for purifying Pokémon: since a lot of XP is needed to level up, there's no big rush, so try and focus on purifying Pokémon that only need 1000 stardust and 1 candy to purify (Zubat, Starly, Magikarp, Weedle, etc.).

Pro tip: Purifying 100 shadows will cost 100,000-500,000k Stardust. Even if you’re not at Level 44 yet, start saving Pokémon that only take 1k stardust to purify. It’s a pain if storage is an issue but it’ll be worth it.

For Level 48 Task: I would recommend to get 20 Buddy-Pokemon close to ultra so you can feed them once and they reach ultra afterwards. After reaching Ultra it should always give you a souvenir almost instantly

I'm at level 44 right now, one big thing that has helped me with the level requirements is to stash 1k stardust pokemon while at level 43. I had 25 1kers ready to purify, saved a nice chunk of stardust.

To grind XP, put on a lucky egg and keep hitting excellent throws as much as you can. I use one lucky egg everyday and level up friends bonus with the egg. You get 50 coins everyday and each egg costs about 62 coins if you buy the bundle. So one free egg a day. Raids can only get you 10-20k XP. The excellent catch method for 30 mins with lucky egg can fetch you ~150-170k XP. I get 300k XP everyday in just 1hr.

In regards to meltan as well: since it counts as a legendary, you're guaranteed 3 XLs (unless they changed it and I didn't notice 😂) which is honestly not bad at all. Melmetal is pretty good all around.

I just hit lvl40 yesterday, almost died seeing I need to catch 200 Pokemons a day. Seems like I need to grind a lot during this community day

The best side thing with making friends is that gifts basically fill your items with stuff like berries and pokeballs

There's a much simpler way for completing the required charged attack: just go in the training section (where you can battle team leaders as much as you want)

Fun little trick I learned this can help for a level 43. If you go to the team leaders in training and battle them, it will count for super effective moves.

I absolutely get most of my xp from excellent throws... I can now get about 30% excellent throws on random encounters and I catch around 500 pokemons a day, with lucky egg I can get over half a mil a day, and on the right event (like right now with double catch xp and tons of easy to excellent mons like dratini and bagon) I can easily get over a mil a day.

Just started palying again and i can say getting good throws gives loads and really fast xp

Just got to level 30! Took awhile because I stopped playing for 4 years and came back. Lol i’m grinding now tho & I’m slaying.

Helpful again I'm almost finished with my 8 weeks of 25km this is my last week so Monday after 9am I should finally be level 48. I've finished all the other tasks so I'm continuing to gain xp finishing the 25km weekly task which for me is the hardest one.

Question- if we achieve any if these before we reach the level is it automatically crossed off? Or will we need to still need to do everything once we reach the level?

Nice! Level 47 task trick for "Win a raid three-star raid using only Pokémon with CP 1500 or less”. You can start the raid with really high CP Pokémon but you have to finish the raid with a raid party with Pokémon with CP 1500 or less. Have a really nice day everyone!

Dude spotlight hours are underutilized you can very easily get excellent throws if you catch the same pokemon over and over i caught 172 slakoth last hour and gained like 120k cp off of just the excellents

what happens if you dont do the tasks for each level above 40? could you theoritically accumulate all the xp required to hit lvl 50, then do all the tasks, or is xp capped at ur current lvl until the task is complete to reach the next lvl

I know it’s not a tip and I’m just ranting but I think the earning 50 poké coins a day is BS I have a shiny chandelur that’s been in the gym for 2 days!!!! It’s been given no treats!! And it’s pissing me off that it won’t faint so therefore the amount of days a Pokémon stays in the gym that’s the amount of coins it should get! Not just 50. I’m tired of waiting for it to faint or get knocked out I’ve already lost the chance of 100 coins by waiting on it

For Eevees evolution what happens when you evolved it before hitting level 42? Do you still get the task completed or you have to do it all over again?

I am level 38 and it’s taken FOREVER to get level 40 and I am almost done with Kant o Rex (missing articuno)

I started playing before lv 50 was top so I didn’t know that I would screw my self over with the eevee evolutions I got 7 of 8 and it seems like I never see any eevee spawns so it’s killing me been lv 41 for almost a year
