hello - it is possible to install a cylinder wall- it is better horizontal

How do you keep it from not stretching?

israel endalk stretching isn't a terrible thing, letting the material fall naturally holding it barely taught should be enough. Printing isn't a perfect science though and having panels shrink here and there has been known to happen. This is where vinyl graphics shine because you can manipulate the material to make perfect seams if necessary.

The biggest tip is to throw away your ladder and get a small scaffold. You'll save so much time and take balancing yourself out of the equation so you can focus on doing the install. There's not a ladder manufacturer on Earth who recommends straddling the A-frame or leaning off the side of their products. There are old installers and there are bold installers, but there are no old bold installers.

I dunno, I must be the odd duck. After 37 years of painting, pasting and installing graphics I'll straddle a ladder any day over climbing up and down a scaffold a bunch of times. If I'm going to be parked at a certain level for a while, I'll go to the trouble to pack a scaffold, otherwise thats a pita to climb over or around scaffold uprights. Of course ladder manufacturers don't recommend straddling or leaning for insurance reasons. About the only people telling me I can't do something that I have been doing for decades are kids or people that don't or can't do this for a living. Old and Bold...............

@@jimwells2721 Hi Jim. I just lost another colleague to a ladder fall last week. He's 67 and wasn't planning on retiring anytime soon. The ladder decided otherwise. You're thinking of a 'real' scaffold and I'm talking about a 4-5 foot folding scaffold that sets up quicker than a ladder. In my 30 years of installs, I've never even had a close call. Plus, I can 'surf' the scaffold for long pieces without ever coming down. To each his own though.

@@drwrap3431 Sorry to hear about your colleague. Nope, not thinking about section scaffold. Easier for me to scurry up an 8ft ladder and work my way down to the ground on each panel at a comfy height than it is to deal with a scaffold locked in a stationary height. Hand lettering a wall is a different story, Scaffold all day long........ like you said, to each their own.

Applying blue tape especially that kind of blue tape to the face of vinyl is a problem waiting to happen when you remove that blue tape usually create pockets of air and sure you can squeegee them back down but who's to say something won't happen. Also that particular brand of blue tape will leave a slight residue on the face of most laminated vinyls. There are other Solutions.
