Nice place to find treasure, I am happy for you that you found that gold ring. That has to be worth a lot of money. Gold just went up again. Have a blessed week ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜

Great finds! I I like the idea of using costume jewelry when traveling. Personally I put my good rings away & just wear a silver band-I don’t feel naked & if I mislay it or lose it no big deal.

Good tips! The exchange rate when I lived there many many years ago was 12.50 pesos to one dollar. So when my grandmother sent me $5 for my birthday it seemed like a lot of money. Have you been to Taxco? It's also called the silver city ( when I was living in Mexico) they have silver mines there and a ton of silver jewelry is made there. Some of the silver jewelry my mom had was the cheaper silver that was 800 instead of 925. They were pieces she found while walking. One piece was a large cuff like bracelet made from plates connected together with primitive looking designs showing mountains, cactus, and people dancing. It was just laying on the sidewalk in Mexico city. With so many parks in a lot of the cities I wonder if they allow metal detecting in them.

So that hair clip is super cool. I can’t think of what they are called but do you know the Mexican cowboy dancer performers that wear the very very fancy suits and dresses with lots of silver accessories? Maybe that’s what the hair clip is from? Maybe the signal was skewed from the base metal of the clip part? Nice trip

Really nice finds and great advice, Ryan. In your opinion, does it make any difference in discriminating out the iron or running all metal and turning the iron volume way down?
@rdoggtreasurehunter55836 ай бұрын
I haven't tried turning it down, I think having iron on changes the way some good tones sound, so I disc. it all out. Cheers!

Hi RDogg. I was wondering if you could give me some advice on what the best carrying bag is for holding your tools as well as your finds as your detecting. I find my current one cumbersome and things fall out of the finds pouch. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
@rdoggtreasurehunter55836 ай бұрын
Cheers Doreen, I like the thin Garrett pouch. I put my digger, pinpointer and trash in the large pocket, and it has a small zipper pocket for the finds. It is not bulky, light and it is very well priced, around 20$ or less. All the best!

Congrats on such a successful trip. I don't like to listen to all those iron tones either. It is way to annoying. GL & HH.
