Just took my sleeping baby out to the mall this weekend. I haven't had a reborn outing in a couple years but I was surprised that although people were looking I wasn't as nervous as I thought I would be... btw great video I enjoyed

Aw thank you so much! Glad you enjoy my channel :) welcome to the reborn hobby and community! I highly recommend researching artists and different kits/sculpts to discover what you really like. You can find all different sized reborn kits on sites like www.bountifulbaby.com , www.irresistables.com/reborn-doll-kits , macphersoncrafts.com/en/online-store/reborn-doll-kits , and there are many more. And whether you decide to purchase a custom painted reborn or a preloved reborn make sure you're purchasing from a reputable seller with good feedback :) many sellers and even artists are known to use cheap China-made kits that are illegally reproduced and stolen from the original sculptors, and the quality of these cheap kits is horrible. I plan on making a video on tips for those who are new to the hobby and looking to "adopt" their first reborn in the new year! If you have any specific questions let me know here and I'd be happy to answer them in the video ;) ~Rae

This is the first video of yours I've seen. I like you video it's very good information. I used to take my reborn out in her pram alot, but my disability has worsened over the years and i now need to use a rollator. but I use the pram still for taking pictures.

this is late, but i got a stroller that reclines and its handle moves back and forth so you can either face away from the baby or look at the baby. But my Bub Malachi is small, he is sized around a preemie/newborn making the stroller look to old for him, my tip if you have a little cover that comes with tour stroller to cover the baby's lower half use it to hide the buckle and pull the baby up a little to make him/her seem bigger. I also bought my stroller second hand from the marketplace on facebook. Good Luck

because my reborn has opened eyes i normally put sunglasses to look like its asleep when im out in public or turn it on its side and cover it up with it's blanket (btw its not a full reborn its a toddler)

I have a car seat and a shoulder to take my little babies out in so yeah I put my shoulder on top of the car seat I put the car seat on top of the stroller set on top of the stroller put my baby in the car seat buckle it in so it looks more realistic

If you're going for realism I would put your reborn in a car seat into the stroller (travel system style). Seeing a newborn sized baby in a stroller is not common nor should that ever be done with a living baby due to the angle of a stroller's seat.

I didn’t take that negatively at all, because it’s true. I always try to make mine look real in the stroller because it’s annoying and uncomfortable how everybody likes to stare at mother to be’s bellies and babies, you seriously can’t take them anywhere without people looking and thinking that the parents can’t see them. And it’s worse when it’s just a doll and you’ve already got people who never had a reborn before saying that the entire philosophy of keeping reborns is creepy when they have no idea what people go through when they lost their baby or can’t have one for numerous reasons or have anxiety, people really need to realize that and keep their damn eyes to themselves when you see a stroller or a car seat passing by with a parent who’s just minding their own business. (Yes I get pissed at people like that, why are you asking? Lol)
