Course Comments: Great course. Completed it earlier in 2022 and thoroughly enjoyed re-engaging with painting after many lost years. Watercolour is a new experience for me and I just love it. Stefan is an extremely versatile artist and he imparts his expertise with interesting, enjoyable and achievable tutorials. Currently I'm revisiting some of the tutorials as a refresher before jumping into the Contemporary Landscape course. Very exciting. Thank you Stefan. Pamela A

Very good. As a beginner, I continually make the mistakes you talk about here. Understanding how paint/water works on the paper made all the difference. Thank you.

You may have inspired me to create this video 😊 It is a very common problem though and technically probably one of the most challenging and therefore I thought I should share it.

Thank you fir explaining everything in great detail. I’ve watched so many videos using big brushes and it makes sense to use the right size brush for the object you’re painting. I look forward to more videos! Your landscapes are awesome!

Thanks for the insights! What causes thin white lines to form across watercolor washes? (I'm guessing something to do with too much water lifting off the paint as the brush goes across esp. in graded or varigated wahes. Thanks.

It certainly does Isabel. I usually recommend a cold press 300gsm for beginners, it easier to work with then a smooth hot press
