@dschultz6072 you can hit a slice with a on plane swing whenever the swingpath lets say the swingpath is a alignment stick and so is the clubface. The clubface determines the start of the ball and the swingpath creates the curve of the ball. So whenever your swingpath is more left in relation to where your clubface so the swingpath is left and the clubface is more right of the swingpath the ball is gonna curve to the right but this is a push slice.

A push-fade for me is mainly me coming out of the shot. That's what I tend to do often, not with my irons more or less but my driver. I tee the ball really high is what it is, and I have to lift through the shot in order to strike the ball cleanly, which causes problems. I also hit too far up on the ball my teacher says, and the tee height is the problem, and me coming out of it. Tee it a bit lower, and my push fade will be gone. Funny how simple things like this can fix big problems.

this is exactly my problem. I have been told for years, if you swing too much from the inside, you will always hook. Not true! My divots point way to the right, and it makes it impossible to close the club face.

Gonna try this today. Looks like good instruction to me, though

i definitely disagree with you. golf is all about learning the feel of a swing. this will help the amateur golfer get the feel of an in to out swing and when they set up properly they will know what an in to out swing feels like and will have a better chance of repllicating it as opposed to their over the top swing
