At some point we must become wise enough to stop asking, "Well what will he do for me?" HEALING starts with SELF! These principles will take us far in life with or without a husband/ wife. I just started watch this servant of God three days ago. Thanks God that I found someone has the same vision and teaching the same way how I brought up my 8 children and leading my family. I used to tell them and encourage them and say “no lazy people can go to heaven, God give us this world to use but not to be abused and He also training us here so we can become useful for the kingdom of heaven. If we are lazy, who wants to know us? If we are useless who wants to use us? If we are useless and lazy in this world, don’t expect that God wants to know us as well. Thanks for the video. I try my best to be the best version of myself and live life respectful. I am far from perfect. I never met anyone that is on this earth. I dress respectful, I am hard working, I am God fearing, I raised my girls alone, I am well spoken. I get up early and never procrastinate on a task. I take care of my home, I fix and repair all the fixtures of my home, I wear my pearls. However, I been single for 28 years since the passing of my husband. I haven't met a Man yet that add to what God has molded me into. I will continue praising God and trying to live life respectful. 🙏🙏

Honestly? Because of history, and how prevalent abusive, domineering, neglectful men are, both in the church and out of it. Men are often way too eager to dictate what and how women should be while dealing with far more sinister issues as a group. They tend to be very quiet about major issues e.g. child abandonment, rape, sexual abuse, infidelity in favour of this stuff.

This is a good message but we don't have maids. We both work away from home. We both cook and clean our house. Happily married 6 years. He's Nigerian and I'm American woman. We pay our mortgage together with unity and agreement. Praise God for our marriage.

There is a difference between intelligence and wisdom. Wisdom knows when to speak openly about their feelings wisdom knows that humans are not robotic, we are people even Jesus wept, and got angry as well. Wisdom knows it's best to be unique as God made you, even it means dressing "silly" in other "proper" people's eyes. Congratulations on your marriage, make sure not revolve your life around your husband, Apostle Paul warned against that. Don't lose yourself in trying to keep your husband. I wish someone told me but they told me how to "keep" him and it turned out that it doesn't matter. If a man doesn't love himself he's not going to treat you with respect, period.

Sis your not alone. I too am working on being a proverbs 31 wife. I too need to be more respectful and submissive to my husband Sis. Something that helps me out in this area is being mindful that God requires me to respect my husband regardless if he respects me or not. Being mindful that during arguments or disagreements instead of being rude and disrespectful with saying things back to him we have to strive to go and pray. Sis its not always easy to hold our peace and something that will help woman is to first ask the LORD to show us whats in our own heart and deliver us and repent when we do disrespect our husband because its actually sin against God. We also need to fast deny ourself some breakfast instead seek God get in His Word and read to apply what we read. So that we can be doers of the Word of God not just forgetful hearers. Sis we have to be God conscious/does Jesus get any glory our of how I am acting or talking towards my husband

Dr. Monroe was an exceptional teacher, but some of this message is inaccurate of who qualifies as a true women of God. He mentioned the proverbs 31st woman had servants. Most women today don't have servants. I think I could conquer the world and do million things too, if had servants to help. Realistically, today women are expected to be primary caretakers, personal chef's, maids, never age and work outside the home to help provide. I don't have servants, so I tend to feel burnt out at times. I feel like men often times are rewarded for doing one job, whereas women are expected take on many roles to be viewed as a blessing.

Thanks 🙏 Dr. Myles. I set my alarm so that I can get up for work. I get up drink tea before leaving for work. Hubby will drink his coffee and go. I pack me a sandwich for breakfast and lunch with some fruit and water. With agreement we fix our meals except dinner because we both work away from home. We pay our mortgage together. Both cook and clean. No maids. He's Nigerian and I'm an American woman and happily married 5 years praise God 💕🙏.

I thank God for working Prov 31 woman characteristics in me, He's been working on n in me quite some time cause I was running didn't wanna conform cause I was led astray by own desires some put in me thru demonic forces some I just gave into out of rebellion cause I knew God would forgive. I just thank n praise the Lord ion operate like that anymore n anything other than being a woman of the Most High leaves a nasty taste in my mouth.
