Here are some helpful tips and tricks that I wish I knew when I was applying to UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business! As a current Business School student, the Haas Application and the process were very hidden from many underclassmen unless you knew people in the school so I hope to shed some light on it.
As a Student-Athlete, many would assume that I got in on those merits and that alone but that is far from the truth. Comment below if you want me to do an application breakdown of my app to the Haas School of Business.

Hi Kyle. Interesting video. Question for you, as the college I went to did not have an application process to get into the business school. Basically, you declared your major and did the required courses. What happens to those applicants who don't get into the Haas? Do they have to apply to another school within Cal? Do they just complete a four-year general degree? Is there a general business degree they can get? Thanks. Enjoying the videos!

PS: would value videos about how you juggle your studies, social life and athletic responsibilities. What is a normal week like? How much time and when do you study, train, have fun? What are the tradeoffs and are they worth it? Another video idea.. when you were going through the recruiting process , how did you research and know that a college might be a good fit beyond the swim team? How did you research and decide that a school was a good academic and social fit? This is challenging to current athletes who are not having as much opportunity to travel, go on campus and meet team members.

You love Haas which make them proud of You!!! Bussines at Haas seem as very serious matter!!! I love to study bussines!!! I study a little just but I hope at once for more!!! Did you know Haas is involved in bussines with Space and NASA?

When I applied to college (and what many who go the Haas track do) is apply to the College of Letters and Science (L&S)

I don’t necessarily think so, I mean I clearly outlined how every student can get in outside of my athletics. In my application essays, I didn’t even talk about being a D1 athlete and focused on other parts of my life.

Michael Phelps attended ASU, which is quite a step down from Berkeley. I can guarantee that he would have been admitted to any program at Berkeley without strong academic credentials.

@@KyleMillis lol lets be honest here. its easier getting into haas as a d1 athlete. a ton of the football team + basketball team was/is in haas. wonder why that is

@@kanyewestlover69swag they probably have a really good story of dedication and hard work that reflects their work ethic. Being an athlete speaks a lot to their character. There is no help given to student athletes in admission.
