Insurance companies have to be admitted. They may be working together to price gauge Americans. Other companies have done it before. They need to be regulated better.

No they took massive losses with their portfolio when Fed raised rates to combat fiscal inflation so they underwater with their reserves so they are taking losses and raising premiums ..same with home owners insurance.

Insurance companies buy debt securities like us treasuries..they got rugpulled by Feds when they raise rates incurring portfolio losses and you are paying for their lack of risk mgmt

You have to go after hospital bills, price of car parts, price of cars too. Also people that drive without insurance are the riskiest drivers that would send you to the hospital if they hit you.

The two things arent correlated your credit maybe great but if you have a bad driving record the insurance will be higher car note Is based on how much you finance and your interest rate if you put a large down payment and your rate is low but you have 3 accidents on your record and a ticket why wouldn’t your car note be cheaper than your insurance the two things are based on different metrics the statement is nonsense

Progressive decided to raise my premium after looking into who lives at my house along with me and adding them to the policy without my permission. When I informed them that the person they added is disabled and never had a drivers license they said it didn’t matter, it’s their policy to add members of the household to the policy so I switched insurers the same day

It's corporate greed. If you watch the stock market, corporate record profit came from these "inflation" which are more accurately described as price gouging. Even Walmart raised price of its Rico Rice from $10.88 to $12.98, 20% increase, and then from $12.98 to $18.12, 50% increase. It's corporate greed, nothing more.

Never share your driving data they will say you driving too fast or stopping too much especially if you live right off the highway with traffic lights .. You’re driving too early. You’re driving too late at night . Just don’t do it.

Too bad this report isn't as pressing as our upcoming election information. Consider the companies no longer offering homeowners coverage, yet the increase for such is mind-boggling!!! Insurance companies make trillions each year.

What is insurance? In case something happens. What happens when nothing happens? Do I get my money back? No. What happens when something does happen? You find out you're not cover for that.

This is why I don't have insurance. Just drive cautiously, and don't be idiot speeding and bumper riding cars drive for months, but dmv is going to suspend my registration if I don't show dmv proof by the end of the month. Money hungry Fiends insurance is a scam I went years without an accident 💀🤣

Getting rid of her car is probably the best decision she has made. More people should try walking and biking. It's good exercise and it saves a lot of money --not to mention the environmental benefits for all.
