EA needs to learn from NBA 2K on how to make an interesting career mode. They need to add player rivalries, press conferences, social media beef, all star games, attending events that increase fans, etc.

This is simply impossible, I want career mode to get a MASSIVE update. We can’t even come off the bench. I want to be able to come off the bench, start in a a academy, and have cutscenes. Did the game finally allow you to add multiple positions to your player? So frustrating when you only have one option for a position.

So I started my pro career before Haaland transferred to Dortmund. I’m in 2024 now and I can’t find him ANYWHERE in Europe. It kinda ruins the immersion bc my player moved to Bayern. They have to update career mode so you can see how other players are doing, compare yourself to them, build rivalries and friendships. Certain players should come to your league because they wanna out score you or some wanna join you. I should be able to build chemistry with my teammates and other players I meet throughout my career. After a certain amount of friendship is built, I should be able to ask a player to try to join my team, and suggest him to the manager. There’s so much they can do with FIFA and with the PS5 and XBOX SX coming out they have no excuse to keep this game the same.

I made my player a RM but i got played in CB. I left on loan just to come back to play RB.

I was literally the top scorer for Real Madrid even though they only started me 10 games. I kept them in the champions semifinals with 3 goals and they didn’t start me for the final which they lost 🤦🏽‍♂️

I just used 40 minutes of making my player as a want him to be, a CAM. Chose a smaller side of my local league. And the first game I see I’m being played at Centre-back. So dumb

Honestly, I play as the entire team for the OPPOSITE reason stated. When I simply play as myself, I tend to be quite the ballhog, but when I'm playing as the team, the chances come to all the players at a much more realistic rate.

I played for wolves and got a loan offer(the coach just seems to love to put you on loan)I left in the winter transfer window played the whole season and when I returned I was still in the same epl fixture on the calender when I left wolves

Tbh @Brfootball we appreciate your efforts but this is useless. Because the AI coach will end up playing you foward player to CM and play your CB to RM and your LB at CDM and bench your best players and play your worst teammates. In a nutshell FIFA doesn't really care about this mode because there ain't no extra money

Every club I go to on loan plays me as some sort of midfielder, even though I'm a 91 overall 23 year old right forward, and there are no better players than I am, so I'm not exactly sure why I can't be played in my correct roll considering no one does it better than I do

I have a made up Danish striker called Meyer Danielson and I am 8 seasons in. What I like is that Ea have the record top-goalscorer recorded and you get a huge boost for braking the record. If you want more information feel free to ask me questions.

Whenever I play as a team, I get subbed off every game in the 60th min. If I play as myself which is worse, I don't get subbed off but my teammates are brain dead.

bruh worst part is my player is 85 ovr at 16 playing for psg after one season at nycfc and has five star skills, which i barely even use, and one star weakfoot which is incredibly annoying. and the only way to increase your weak foot is to score with it which is virtually impossible if its 1 star

I started my career as ACM and after 5-6 season, I am one of the worlds best in my position with 91 overall and still growing. I have gone through so many clubs like Tottenham Hotspur, Barcelona, Manchester United, Real Madrid, and now again Tottenham Hotspur. My fav club is Manchester United, I think I will go again to MUN next season.

Picked RB Leipzig as a LF. Asked to go on loan and they granted it. No one picked me up though. In early October they gave me a start and I got a goal and an assist. Then I earned some league games. And now I’ve just earned a start in the champions league and scored. It feels like I genuinely earned my spot and I’m in love

I done the complete opposite I started at m’gladbach and won the Europa league in my first season then moved to Arsenal in the following summer as I was playing ST instead of my position CAM. In the second season I am about to win the prem with Arsenal I won the carabao cup and in the fa cup and Europa league finals all while having Elneny playing RB and Tierney at CDM with Torreria at LM. This mode has so much potential but EA just don’t care they could make clubs sign players in positions of needed upgrade, add cutscenes, be able to come off the bench , be part of the youth academy ( meaning play youth games against other youth teams ) change positions and so much more

Another tip to make this mode more fun: I always play with "pro" camera settings. Can really recommend this!

when I was at dortmund (86 ovr) as a cam they kept playing me at the RB spot and kept playing Depay at CB. the only way I could fix it was transferring to Athletico Madrid

I always start in the mls then transfer to pl or la liga in July. It gives you a few extra months to get your rating up

Step 1. Create your player on create a player in the general game menu and boost the attributes. Step 2. Start career mode and choose “load custom squads” Step 3. Go to In game settings and lower the CPU abilities . Step 4. Win everything and score 10 goals per match

I made a right winger (but he is lefty) and registered him with nottigham forest. At the beginning of his career the coach used him as a center forward, barely playing every 4-5 matches, I asked to be let out for a loan, they sent him to az alkmaar, when the player returned from the loan, the coach changed his position to left midfielder. My player is already an overall rating 85 as an attacker but this coach won’t let him play too much. Is it any option to ask him to put him back to his starting position or the better, let him play in the right wing so he can cut inside and shoot? As a lefty, when he cuts inside from the left wing, the natural movement of the player is set to shot with the right foot, he’s 1 star and his weak foot accuracy sucks big time. Also, can i wait for my contract to expire and join another team or the only way to get out of the current team is by requesting a transfer?

I had to sim a whole season because I was 89 rated at Fulham and they played me out of position and wouldn't let me leave. They eventually let me and the only team that offered was Burnley. I eventually got an offer from barca after a season at Burnley but still it took 5 seasons of being way too good for every team I played for to finally get a good move

Ea needs to fix the mode it Is really fun when all is good and also they need to put in kit creator boot contracts and let's say making your own brand and storylines etc etc etc

I started my player at the age of 16 and retired at the age of 19 I played for Birmingham city, Barcelona, Man City and finished at PSG where I retired at a 93 overall 2 below mbappe prob the only player better than me the whole career I played at a legendary difficulty and got an insane stats of 114 goals and 115 assist as a left forward I won every type of cup including the wc with Portugal an headache as I carried them to the semi and then was benched against France had to resim till we won 😤 one thing I’ll say it’s broken about this game are the coaches choices in both Barcelona and city I only got to play like 20/30 max matches the whole season even tho I was better than most player in that position but for the rest I had fun tbh if you want your player to grow quickly I suggest to play him as a left mid more time allowing you to play as a winger or left forward but this year I made the mistake to make him a left forward but didn’t affect me much as I was still be able to assist consistently I suggest you to concentrate on assist as well and not only goals as they can give you a better match rating increasing your level a lot I didn’t use any punctuation cause this is a comment not an essay

I was a cam playing for Salzburg and decided to go on loan because I got barely any game time. Preston played me at left back. LEFT BACK. After a while, I got to 87 ovr and I signed for Man Utd. Garner plays cam, even tho he’s a CDM. I’m playing RM and Dan James is playing CDM. Just put me as cam, James as RM and Garner as CDM!!!

So I've started my season a week ago and I noticed that theres accomplishments that says that if I complete 10 of the 57 Ball skill accomplishments that I'll get a skilled driving trait and other achievements says Similar things for other traits and I've completed them but it says that I still have 0 traits so how to I equip traits because I can't find where its at

I used to start my player in Mexico then work my way to the Elite. In 18 or 19 i started at Pumas, then transferred to Man City as an 87 rated striker, then went to PSG, after winning the champions, i requested another transfer (overbloated with strikers with Cavani, Mbappe, my player, and they transferred for Gabriel Jesus) Then went to Real, it was the best FIFA 20: My guy was transfer listed for months and NO ONE has made an offer and im rated at 87 as well... smh

I chose attacking midfielder and my player is now rated 93 but still cant cross or defend and no matter what I do I cant raise his penalty and free kick ratings... it's been 3 straight season's of constant penalty training and his attributes have only gone up by 4 points. Its damn frustrating

I started with a midfielder in the third bundesliga and after 2 years there i tried to get transfered,because my character was way better then the other ones in my team. it doesn`t worked 5 times in a row.... i don´t got a offer. then i tried to get loaned and that was doable. at the loan i won the national pokal and the league, i was the topscorer and most assisting player in the league. i got back to my regular team and instantly asked for a trade, but that dont worked again... i´m now 91 rated in a team that has players with overall ratings of 60....
