Wearing a helmet can't make me look any worse than I am. Not wearing a helmet can really mess me up if I fall off the bike. I can't afford to be any more messed up than I already am.

I *can* put a price on my head. I just got a Shark Evo Modular for my $300 head. A little heavy and no transition shield , but reasonably priced and comfortable. Maybe it would be good to have a 'backup', helmet to recommend to those of us on a budget since not all of us have $900 ($820 + tax) to lay down for head protection.

The best and only helmet I wear now is the Shoei RF-1400, it is quit, comfortable and looks great, I did have to over $200 for my transition shield but not having to stop and take sunglasses or change the shield is the best!

I have a Shoei helmet. It’s nice. The transition visor is an additional $200. I’m ordering your Bell helmet. Best bang for my buck.

Lot of the Bell helmets come with a transition shield. I had the bell qualifier, it was nice but extremely noisy to the point where even with ear plus was anoying. Just bought a shoei rf1400 and I love it, except the fact that transition shield its sold separately and not cheap at all

Good call CC Ex motorcycle courier for 15 years no ear plugs am now 90% deaf in right ear and 60 in left with constant tinnitus. 45yo now. I was a guitar player and a music lover WAS The only good part is not hearing people when they talk and these days it could be a good thing. 😏

I just use the flip down internal tinted visor on my modular helmet,no need for a transitional visor 👍👍👍

I have a different problem long hair. Pony tail whipsvand end knotted. Plus broke probably a little hoarder in me. But stuff and keep. My main gloves are 12yrs old. Coat probably going on 6yrs. Ive picked up stuff in clearance in shops or online.

I had to buy several loose helmets before i learned😂. I actually wear a small helmet. I need the arai quantum x. Best helmet ive ever owned. They last 10 years instead of 5.

I just copped a Shoei X15, and it's fucken awesome! I also wear a balaclava with it; it helps with the sweat and makes it easier to put on and take off.

It amazes me that people do not wear a (full face) helmets, knowing that if they have a get off they might land on their faces. Even if you have fantastic riding skills you cannot control the crazy 4 wheelers or avoid every road imperfection.

Best advice I've learned over 14 years of riding is DON'T skimp out on a helmet. Buying a cheap helmet is the worst. You want to buy quality to protect your melon. It'll also lead to a more comfortable feeling with the lining.
