6th of August - 2024 - UPDATE - Still Working!!! Albeit with a few minor questionnaire differences from microsoft at the end. However, be very aware of what he says at @3:48 . Make sure to use the backslash, otherwise it wont work. i had to copy the slash symbol from the command line and past it directly using CTRL+C . CTRL+V . so safe to say this is still working. Thanks again for this great video.

Still works as of 28-Mar-2024! By the way, fabulous video, THANK YOU! I did discover, however that you do NOT need to disable the Ethernet device. So you can skip the .cpl step and the disable/re-enable. It will still give you the "I don't have internet" to click. That way you can avoid a few unnecessary steps.

It totally works. Make sure you're pressing the "FN" key as well, when pressing Shift+F10, AND ensure you're spelling the words correctly in the cmd...

Worked for me exactly as described on Windows 11 on 9th Aug 2024 Reset the laptop Connected to WiFi Shift + F10 Brought up the CMD at login screen Entered the commands Followed the instructions Entered a name Didn't enter a password and clicked continue Reconnected WiFi once set up Et voila 😙👌

So, my update of the Windows 11 pro version H23H is installed on my 12 year old Acer Aspire 5750g laptop and was digitally activated using the Windows 10 serial that I had. Currently, it's conducting and installing necessary upgrades 😂. There is absolutely no difference in performance, and it's working normally. Quite incredible to be honest, I'm happy as Larry.

Was able to do everything you showed. New computer now set up and internet turned back on. But I cannot get the Windows defender to work. it won't even show up as a page. only a blank tab.. edit.... restart fixed the problem... Thank you for the excellent instructions!

It didn't work for me, but if you type anything into the email and password and press next, it will take you to a "something went wrong page" and from there you can just make a local account
