It's not that they can't serve any food at all. There used to be many dishes, but the government has now limited it to only one dish. The reason behind this is that a lot of food was being wasted. Another reason, which is also the main one, is that wealthy people used to show off a lot in this matter, which made poor people feel bad.

Show of Food, Style, Luxurious arrangements were bad affecting to poor who can't do it without loan or borrowing. 3. Elite, Rich, Middle, Poor class difference in marriage are the biggest menace in the society. 4.
