Tire-2 (Video Tutorial) SolidWorks

The Design of ‘Tire-2’ has been taken from Assembly file of 'Suspension' → ‘Sample files’ → Autodesk Inventor.

In this SolidWorks Tutorial we will describe how to build the model of ‘Tire-2’. It is a part modeling tutorial, it will cover the following topics.

• Creating 2D Sketches on different Planes of the model.
• Use the sketch constraints with help of ‘Add Relation’ tool that are applied on during sketch creation.
• Use feature commands such as Revolve Boss/Base, Revolved Surface, Extruded Cut, Circular Pattern, Fillet and Mirror tool.
• Use Circular Pattern tool to create multiple instances of one feature.

Why don't you use arc tan instead of arc 3 point with tangent property? Pd. Thanks for the tutorial it's very useful!

There are many ways of doing the same thing. You can choose what you find easy.

My solidworks can´t do "convert entities" min. 7:50 I followed your steps, and nothing please help me, thanks.

You should use 'Intersection Curve Tool' not convert entities and select the Tire-2 model form FeatureManager Design Tree.

I´m sorry, that´s what I did, I used "intersection curve and selected the tire model, and nothing.

Ok no problem at all, if it is not working. From FeatureManager Design Tree open the visibility of sketch1 under revolve feature. Then by using Convert Entities tool copy the top arc sketch entity into the current sketch and offset it as displayed in the video. That is all hope it will help.
