Thanks for the video. It might be hard/impossible with a low-profile tire but when re-seating the tire, the first bead can usually be put on by hand. Just start the bead at the narrowest part of the rim, push, and spin. This is EXACTLY the tool I need next!

The mount head was not in the correct position. Unfortunately, it will damage the rim even in the correct position, so I can’t help with that, but I can help with getting it to actually work. The manual is useless as it doesn’t tell you anything about how to position it, but here’s how: Hook the rim with the mount head with the entire bead above the rim. Run the tire bead across the flat part of the mount head and push the bead below the rim on one side using your hand. Moving around the rim, push more and more of the bead down with that hand until it gets tight which will happen when you get about half way. Hold the bead down with one arm near the opposite side of the mount head and lift the bar to an angle where the bead across the mount head tightly stretches just past the lip of the rim. The bead coming off the trailing end of the mount head will naturally want to align with the taught bead that’s already below the rim, and since it is stretched past the edge of the rim it can now drop down to meet it. Pivot the bar off the center post to move the mount head in the direction of the remaining bead above the rim and the trailing edge of the bead will fall off the mount head, below the rim lip. Think of it like taking one continuous bite with a tire spoon. Once you lever the bead over with a spoon it WANTS to drop down and relieve some of that tension. That relief is what gives you the slack you need to take another bite and lever it over (or keep rotating).
