On your recommendation I started using Adams and was very pleased with the results. I’m a big CarPro fan. So when Darkside came out I was anxious to try it and it did not disappoint. By far the best dressing I’ve used. Ease of application, gloss level, and durability all superior to anything else I have tried.

Having 35” tires on 17” rims, I’m loving the darkside for hydrophobics and for the lack of browning it gives for about a month. I used to use meguiars hot shine but it was too runny and it would attract brake dust and dirt. This is helpful for me to continue doing what works based off of your recommendation. Sometimes the few extra bucks upfront are worth more in cost per application. Thanks again for all you do, Pan!

It isn't too much expensive because it lasts a long time and you don't need so much product. CarPro is my absolute favorite car care brand.😊

great video Pan, Infinity Wax Tyre Coat is what i use, very good results especially through the Scottish winters (1-2 months), Express Sealant (spray/rinse) also good for quickly protecting the alloys. I have the TW GA Tire Shine to try in the spring.

the turtle wax is the longest lasting one I have ever used. it makes it through winter and makes the tire look clean after you wash it off.

STRAIGHT FACTS!.... I've been using the turtle wax one ever since it came out and have not used anything else ever since lol... And I've used all of the other brands before and non of them last as long or looks as good as the turtle wax one... And for 12.99 US for me it can't be beat🔥

I concur the turtle wax lasts the longest. And it creates the best barrier to dirt and hydrophobicity. It is not as glossy as the dark side and even after two coats doesn’t match one coat of dark side in terms of gloss. But I’ve found the dark side attracts dirt when layed in thick. The turtle wax is completely dry to the touch n sustains after rainstorms and the price is right. U cannot go wrong with the turtle wax for a fraction of the price of dark side

When I was a kid Saturday mornings were fun with cartoons. Now Saturday morning is fun because of a Pan video. Tire dressings have come a long way since chemical guys vrp. Definitely a noticeable difference between consumer grade and professional grade products here. Darkside is something I have to my arsenal along with blackout for my personal vehicle. Great job demonstrating all of the products and explaining the pros and cons. Thank you for the video Pan.

Great video Pan. Darkside is on my list. I recently got Labocosmetica Nero and really like the look and application of that. I do knock down the gloss a bit with a towel after about 30 minutes.

I have been using two coats of Turtle wax graphene and love the results. It also repels dust. I’ve recently tried dark side and after one rainstorm it’s washed away. Dark side is no different then the old endurance tire gel in my opinion. I find that the acrylic in turtle wax leaves my Michelins darker for longer.

Interesting. This is why it’s important for people to test a few different ones to see what lasts longest in their conditions and also which finish they prefer as it’s quite subjective. 👍🏻

I also use Daekside and I use VRP. The point you make that is spot on is longevity. I agree a couple to a few weeks at best is what they last. With that being said most people may as well buy the least expensive options and reapply often.

I've seen on other videos that Pan likes VRP. I use it and like the less shiny look. I apply after every wash since I use tire/wheel cleaner.

Yasou Pan, Thank you for the video on tire dressing. I watch your 2023 awards and bought the CarPro Darkside. It lasted over two months before I had to reply it using CarPro Retyre. It has incredible water beating results plus the tires look brand new! NIKOS

Hi Pan, thanks for another great video. it would have been great to see the actual tyres again after two weeks of use. Personally I use the Turtle wax as its the best ive tried so far and is great value in the UK, Agree that they only last two weeks though and the gloss can disappear within a couple of days in wet weather.

Currently using CarPro dark side with pretty good results. The TW product goes on well but wasn’t as durable as they claim. Browned on my daily driver within a few weeks

Perl is much, much better when cut with about 40% water. I stopped using Perl uncut when I saw a guy that has something to do with whoever blends for CarPro, stating always cut Perl. It is uncut for stability and shelf-life because they have environmental regulations that can't be met adding a biocide. Darkside uses propylene glycol as the cutting agent and doesn't mix well with water.

Great video as usual Pan… can’t lie. My go to is Hybrid Solutions. Even in higher end complete details I love this product. Definitely 2 applications are necessary. As a test vehicle, I get 3-4 weeks durability in messy Ontario. Lots of sand and salt. I usually do 2 maintenance washes per week. Cheers!

I'm going to try Carpro Darkside. That satin finish is exactly what I'm looking for in a tire dressing. I have Adams Graphene Tire Dressing, but the darkening effect only lasted three days on my daily driver.

I personally love using Koch Chemi PSS applied with a microfibre sponge applicator and a spray trigger head put onto their bottle. Works fantastic!

I like TriNova tire shine for beefy offroad tires and Adam's Graphene VRT or the tireshine for the regular tires

Just to clarify… in the US Tire+ is only $16.99 per 16oz. I believe Pan is stating Canadian Pricing converted to USD which we have no control over.. Regarding application. Pan, I would love for you to give it another try using much less product than shown here. Tire+ is a thinner consistency to be able to spread farther, be more economical, more even, and get into all of the tread. 1-2 sprays on an applicator pad is all that is needed to cover a whole tire and you will not be left with any excess product on the tire, it should apply almost dry after rubbing in. Hope this helps you use the product more efficiently and maybe changes your opinion on the application side. Tire+ is also great for off-road tires where you may want to spray it directly onto the surface to help get into every ridge and tread😊

Thanks for the info. For the price, as this was filmed a while ago, I think what happened is when I access your website, it seems to load prices in CAD currency, but it didn’t say CAD next to the price so people assume it’s USD as you’re based in USA. So your website must know where the user is coming from and adjust the price without us knowing? I looked at the website and scrolling down that’s where I noticed the currency was set to CAD. If I set to USD, you’re right it’s 16.99$ USD for 16 oz. Perhaps modify the site so when the price is written is also states the currency right next to it?

To us, it seems more intuitive to show the pricing in the user's local currency, making it easier to understand the true pricing without having to do conversions... we will see if there is a way to make it more known, maybe in the header..@@PanTheOrganizer

Hi Pan, I’ve been using Meguiar's Endurance Tire Gel, 16 oz. and have been very satisfied. I don’t recall if you’ve tested it. Thanks for the very thorough review of these products. I may give the CarPro Darkside a try once I run out of the Meguiars.

The only one I’ve used is the turtle wax Graphene. I love it. I haven’t used anything else since. It lasts weeks and makes cleaning so easy. Gives a nice dark appearance for a long time. Can’t beat the price either.

@@PanTheOrganizer I do wash my car every 2 weeks so it always looks great until then. But I have gone as long as a month and I still see the darkening effect and no real build up of dirt on the tires.

I certainly enjoy a deep black glossy look and opted to use Maguires Ultimate Tyre Gel. Looks great but my goodness - the “sling” was horrible. My truck has 33” Atturo ATS tyres, with an aggressive tyre side pattern. I’d love a product that you could just spray-on and either wipe-off or second coat. Any hints or suggestions?

Great video Pan. I use carpro Blackout 3 to 4 eeks top it of with carpro darkside then Bi week use Adam's graphene tire dressing. I have use feynlab black velvet tire sealant i like all of them

I bought 1L of Darkside during a sale and I expect the bottle to last me many many applications. I appreciate the pump for applying to my applicator and I am very happy with the appearance and durability. I was pleased with my bottle of Adams Graphene, but I like Darkside more and the 1 L bottle made it a great value at the time of my purchase.

Darkside FTW. I switched to it from Geyon Tyre and was very happy. Both are excellent products but Darkside lasts 3 weeks between washes most of the year for me.

Hi Pan - thanks for another great review! I use Darkside, and while I agree on ease of application and durability, one thing I find a bit annoying: After curing, even for days in a garage, it never dries off completely, and will start to run when driving, leaving sling traces towards the outside of the tire. I certainly did not overapply, but especially around the lettering of the tires, you can see that phenomena. I definitively advise to remove the excess after curing to prevent this from happening. I used a Pinsel for application, which left too much product around lettering, then tried an applicator pad, still the same issue. Will try application with a micro fibre towel next to see if that helps. Anyone else having this issue?

its been about 2 months since i applied two coats of the turtle wax tire shine and, though the tire don't see any winter salt or mud, its been holding up pretty amazing. The edges are the only place where the dressing has worn off, but the rest of the tire is matt black and beading water like crazy. I usually don't even need to scrub them just spray it with my pressure washer.

Great review Pan! Before finding Adams Graphene Tire Dressing, I loved Meguiar's Endurance Gel (I never had a sling problem with that like many people have reported). I do use two coats of the Adam's though as I do like a semi-glossy tire and very happy with it for the price, especially since Adams is usually on sale on their website for 20%-30% off on a daily basis and their shipping is very reasonable too.

@@PanTheOrganizer Darkside by a landslide. Usually three to four weeks or so before it's negligible whether it's there. I live in reasonably harsh conditions on the east coast.

Hello Pan. Unfortunately in Europe, and Greece especially, we lack most of the products you showcase. From my small experience Darksider on first application seems really greasy, even after wiping with a dry microfiber cloth. It also attract dust. After a week, and a maintenance wash the look of the tyre has superb looks and a very natural finish. For me Carpro Perl,neat or 1:2, has the same optical effect as Darkside, without the side effect of attracted dust. Added bonus, its also very versatile

I love dark side. Going to try 3D’s new Glw ceramic tire dressing. See if that gives around 80% of the durability and application timeframe as Darkside but for cheaper.

Before I even get into the video I’m going to guess darkside is #1. I’ve tried so many and picked it up last year. It lasts a long time (for tire dressing). Great matte sheen, no sling. Love the stuff. Edit to add : use a dedicated lake country applicator and final pass with a brush and it finishes excellent

+1 with darkside. It is great that it isn’t water based like the others, as I found products like Pearl faded quickly after a rain storm. Longevity, looks and applicability make it the best of the bunch in my experience.

I use either carpro darkside or chemical guys VRP but find that carpro darkside last 4-5 weeks in Colorado winters and VRP lasts 1-2 weeks.

I guess I'm a matte fan because I still prefer 303 protectant on my tires. Seems to last and does not brown, plus the high UV blockers in it.

Excellent video. I've been using Zaino Z-16 Perfect Tire Gloss since about 2010. Haven't had any issues and lasts 3-4 months. For me the important thing is it doesn't sling at all. I cringe every time I see a vehicle that has tire dressing slung all down the side of it.

Hi Pan, Another great video as always. I’ve used CB VRP most recently, but it doesn’t last very long without multiple applications on my Pirelli Scorpion Zero tyres (not sure if the tyre has any relevance). So on yours and other advice I’ve purchased the CarPro DarkSide. Just as a side note, CarPro is only around £13 ($16.5 equivalent) so I think where you buy it is clearly even better value for money here in the UK.

I wash my vehicles approximately every other week. So it lasts for the two weeks just fine. I assume you also thoroughly clean the tires each time you wash the car as I do so the durability hasn’t been an issue. I appreciate your work

One factor that affects the cost is product durability. If you have to apply it twice as often, your cost has just doubled - not to mention the extra investment of your time. Of course, this only applies to those who wash and detail on an as-needed basis, not those who do so on a fixed schedule.

I use. Carpro perl or Local chemical company makes a silicone 'super wet look' tyre dressing. Some customers like the shine, others like the more natural look of carpro.

Wheels and tires are not my favorite, but to me the Carpro darkside would be one i would chose, it looks awesome, just the sheen i like, and being a sealant would be a benefit!

@@PanTheOrganizer In the Uk the weather is all over the place so not sure how much impact this has has on the durability but it's still looking good after 3 weeks , the shine does fade but when washing my car the water repels instantly of the tyre .

Here in the Netherlands we only have carpro and turtle. I've tested darkside and blackout on my car. I really love the shine and durability on my gloss-black wheels It matches my expectations and outdoes blackout by a mile. I applyed blackout on my bridgestone tyres and for some reason the coating didn't want to stick to the tyre. After 3 weeks it was gone. I reported this to the dealer and he gave me my money back

I like the way the Adams looks, that you can buy it in bulk and their instructional videos, not overly shiny but I like that the turtle wax has acrylic. As for another potential contender, Mckees 37 graphene dressing? Good video and even though I actually like the lovers in a certain way you were very scientific and realistic in your test!
