Probably dont ride that hard either. I repair tires for a living. Push plugs never last. Not meant to be permanent, ive seen tire pressure alone push them out. (Granted on semitrucks). So what do you do when you're 200 mi in the middle of nowhere? Plug on a motorcycle tire is designed to get you home so you can then properly replace the tire. On a car not such a big deal. I've had plugs last years. But there's no way I would risk it on a sport bike particularly.

@@kens97sto171 Well of corse if I was stuck somewhere 200 miles out I would do whatever I had to do to make it home or to a shop… but I would never ever ever fix a tire on a motorcycle with a plug and run it like there wasn’t anything wrong with it… I’ve had a blow out on a bike it’s not a very fun experience…

@@michaelcowan7456 Absolutely. The video just shows how to plug a tire. Doesn't give any advice on if you should ride it or not and how long. Think it depends a bit on the bike too. If you're on a sport bike carving the corners. There's a lot more stress on that tire. And the tire flexes around a lot more depending upon the angle. You're riding a cruiser, or maybe a scooter that doesn't do a lot of side loading. Or the weight is significantly lower. Or the speed is significantly slower. Like everything else in life it all depends on the situation.
