@@-Therian_On_Snowshe actually wasn’t usless, she was just weak. You can notice it during the chuunin exams episodes where during the night she took care of sick sasuke and naruto. Later in the morning when they wanted to capture sasuke she fought after rock lee, even if she wasn’t enought strong and had basic knowledges of different kinds of jutsu.
