Tip: when you Command or Apple don't forget that not everyone has a Glider or Mount.

Thanks for doing this. I was brute forcing my way through a lot of this map, and while I could halfway get around (about 60% done training wallows) the actual connections weren't really making sense. I'm a "map guy" who relies on mental pictures of layouts for my sense of direction rather than landmarks, and the in-game version was failing me horribly.

Yes, even the Developers say that integrating the minimap to match movements and appearances of the actual map & environment is a pain. Roads really don't match up if there are elevation changes or overlaps.

Thank you soooo much for this guide!! Only managed to figure out a few small tricks and using nuhoch wallows but so many pois and stuff elude me and I still get super frustrated navigating there even after doing map complete on two characters through mix of brute force and google. This is very helpful! One question though that I cannot find the answer for. You used the chak goop door but whenever I try to use it outside of story it doesn't ever work. I recall needing enzymes during story but they don't seem to drop from enemies and I do have the nuhoch hunter mastery. Are they needed to use chak door or how do you use Chak door?

this map is beautiful/fun to explore, but the ingame 2D map is not helpful. should link this to mapchat whenever someone complains map is bad because it is confusing.

iam not sure if its good level design if you need a guide to navigate it

It isn't a level it is a map in a mmorpg. Discovery should be a big part of any mmorpg so I think this design is great.

The design of the zone is amazing. The only complaint Is agree with would be the wonky behavior of the mini-map, but that's minor. It's confusing and easy to get lost in, but Tiro said it in the video: that is the point of the zone. I love that a zone like this is part of the game. Really getting to know a place, exploring the world, not just blindly following mini map markers … that's its own joy!
