Thank you for sharing this! I'm the grandson of Vishnu Narayanan Namboothiri and this was a fond recollection of him. Sharing the excerpt from the prologue of his work below: എന്തുകൊണ്ട്‌ ഉത്തരായണം _ഞാന്‍ സതീശ്‌ പൊതുവാള്‍, പയ്യന്നൂര്‍, ചലച്ചിത്രരംഗത്ത്‌ പവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്നു, ഇവന്‍ എന്റെ മകന്‍ ഗണപതി. മാസ്റ്റര്‍ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കണം “നന്നായി വരട്ടെ ॥ -ഗോത്രമുഖ്യനെ കത്തുന്ന കണ്‍കളാല്‍ നോക്കീ തലകുമ്പിട്ടിടാത്തവന്‍ ഗംഗാനാരായണന്‍... എന്നെ അമ്പരപ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ട്‌, തിരക്കിട്ട വഴിയോരത്തുനിന്ന്‌ ആ മനുഷ്യന്‍, നീണ്ട ആ രചന ചൊല്ലിത്തീര്‍ത്തു; ഇടറിയും പതറിയും ഇടയ്ക്കിടയ്ക്ക്‌ കിതച്ചും. എന്നിട്ടയാള്‍ എന്റെ കൈപിടിച്ചമര്‍ത്തി. “ഇതെന്റെ കഥയാണ്‌. മാസ്റ്റര്‍ അതറിയില്ല. തന്നത്താന്‍ നശിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടും ഗംഗാനാരായണനു പിന്നെയും ജീവിതം ഉണ്ടെങ്കില്‍, എനിക്കും ജീവിക്കാമെന്ന്‌ വാശി തോന്നി ജീവിക്കുന്നു. മാസ്റ്ററോടിതു പറയണം എന്നത്‌ എന്റെ മോഹമായിരുന്നു. ഒരപേക്ഷകൂടിയുണ്ട്‌. എല്ലാ ഹിമാലയകവിതകളും ചേര്‍ത്ത്‌ മാസ്റ്റര്‍ പുസ്തകമാ ക്കണം. ആവാം എന്ന്‌ ഞാന്‍ വാക്കുകൊടുത്തു. അങ്ങനെയങ്ങനെ ഈ പുസ്തകം. പല സമാഹാരങ്ങളില്‍ വന്നതും ഒന്നിലും വരാത്തതുമായ കൃതികള്‍ ഉത്തരായണ ത്തില്‍ ചേര്‍ക്കുകയാണ്‌.
