The screw down crown is usually a feature that's helpful to create enough pressure on the crown seal to keep the watch water tight at greater depths. Having a screw down crown on most chronographs is a bit pointless unless you have screw down seals on the chrono-pushers as well. That necessitates having round pushers for the chronograph function. For anyone considering buying this watch, one thing worth noting is how hard it is to really grab the crown because of the height of the pushers. In addition to that, the gearing on the time setting feature is very high, so you need to turn the crown quite a lot to move the hands to the correct time (relative to other movements). That said, it is very easy to set the watch's minute hand to about a fifth of a minute resolution and have the hand hold its position, which is nice. But if you have arthritic hands or otherwise will have a difficult time setting this watch, and will be taking it off your wrist for prolonged periods (and not storing it on a winder), this may not be the watch for you. I love mine, though.

Not crazy about rubber bracelets, but this Tissot chronograph navigator might just be my first... I'm feeling this one. My daily driver right now is an invicta 8926ob.
