Can’t wait to see the LCC. Most of the Arizona sites are in very good condition, due to being sealed off since the mid-80’s

@@indiaoscarnovember flooding wreaks havoc these sites, surely. Along with the rusting and muck, there’s a whole other aspect of mold thrown in there. Is this LCC in as good of shape as Oracle?

I. Dispatched every weekday for three years to these missile sites. I helped recondition the 350 KW standby power generators that were on level three of the launcher side of the site. Then I was transferred to McConnell to help deactivate those sites. One of the things we used to do when we went into the launcher was to hold a turtle race down the long cable way. We were required to wear hard hats anytime we went past blast door nine. So before we entered the long cable way we would take our hard hats and throw them down the cable way. The person that was the furthest from the expansion joint at the launch tube would have to buy drinks for the rest of us on the way back to Tucson.

I thought I had heard somewhere that all of the long cableways were supposed to be removed but the ones out east just got left cause of water table and the higher amount of work to get them out. It will be cool if your ever able to get into the actual silo!

@@bruceparker985 😞 there is a picture in Chuck Pensons TITAN II HANDBOOK, showcasing the removal of 571-1 generator. Bummer. We wondered the exact same thing and research answered a lot before we even got into the LCC. Who knows? Perhaps we will get there and find some RFHCO suits hanging around....or the old azimuth platform for calibrating the missile intact....or the launch ring lol

Is the lower left locking pin on Blast Door 6 misaligned, or is it just me? It almost looks like it kicked out on the side where it had been welded.
@indiaoscarnovember
@indiaoscarnovember Жыл бұрын
When i looked at the bottom of the door when we closed it the gap was the same above the floor across the bottom length of the door. Its level and both hydraulic pin boxes left of the door are solid no damage. Most rubble around the door was dirt, it was shielded by a slap of the roof angled in the corner.

Does the footprint mean someone was trapped inside and is now a skeleton waiting inside?
@indiaoscarnovember
@indiaoscarnovember 28 күн бұрын
The footprint means....back in the early 2000s, a team with the owner, entered the site through the long cableway (which was removed as part of decommissioning requirements in AZ sites), explored, left a footprint, and buried it back. We dug down and entered through the access portal (front door) which was completely filled and untouched since decommissioning in the 80s. We actually walked through the LCC for the first time the exact same day the first crew left the footprint over a decade earlier. Thanks for watching! Who knows what could be in the silo.
@swedishpsychopath8795
@swedishpsychopath8795 28 күн бұрын
@@indiaoscarnovember I feel like you are trying to hide something? Surely the footprint is from someone who was locked in the silo and left to die, desperately trying to get someone to hear the kicking and cries for help? For some reason you seem to want to hide the truth about this? As an investigator, this makes me suspicious of your role in this? IF you had a role in this, surely you wouldn't show us the footage of when you removed the perceived skeletal evidence. In that case, it would be done "off camera" and when you finally enter the silo, the evidence is gone. If this theory is tenable, then it is a diabolical plan. Will you be willing to drive down to your local police station to have a chat with a law enforcement officer so all suspicions of your participation on the death of the silo-guy can be checked out of the invstigation?
@indiaoscarnovember
@indiaoscarnovember 28 күн бұрын
@@swedishpsychopath8795 ill drive down and talk to Buck later about your suspicions, dont overthink it, you have enough to consider...especially after what happened in your last investigation. Remember? Oh thats right..you cant remember.
