I bought the Casio duro (from abroad at about 5500 INR). I understand that the octane model is technically slightly better than the Casio duro, but I personally do not like that dial design of the titan octane. One can replace the strap (that I have already on my batman duro - put a steel bracelet) but one cannot change the dial. Titan octane dial is just too busy for my liking. Even the channel owner said the same in the video. We would love more such comparison videos on budget watches. Thanks

Lovely comparison much success to you👍I was in love with Duro but didnt want to spend premium amount on it so settled with MTP VD01 for duro clean look. Didnt like the clutter dial of Titan or else i own two chronographs of Titan and they last a life time with just battery change

Duro always 👍, Octane is good but very busy dial. But rightly mentioned on Duro's versatility (bracelet, silicon, leather strap anything on Duro) whereas Octane falls short on such aspects

I don't trust this specific octane model anymore, even the replacement model was having the same issue..screw down crown gets jammed.. I would suggest better go with duro.. Indeed the build quality is great but the movement is not.. Maybe thats the reason they are giving a high discount on this particular model. Returned it and got a casio instead

I always saw this watch on flipkart and amazon but wasn't really that interested because it was simply a titan watch and I didn't really expect much as I thought even their octane series which has the sportiest models in their catalogue, has only 50m WR. But this was a surprise. Hope it kills the overrated duro hype. Since this is better in all ways. Pricing, finishing, loom and crystal. Not to forget "Made in India"

Agree it's an excellent watch in terms of specs. But I don't like the dial, it's very busy. Finishing of duro is also great, and it's dial really makes it apt for diving or any other activities where basic legibility is important. Octane must also work on the same watch with a simple movement and dial for a cleaner version. Also, the movement in titan isn't made in India, just saying.

Mine is 7 inches, I remember in few of my earlier videos I said I have 6 inches wrist and that was not the case. I literally measured my wrist with measuring tape and reconfirmed after I received few feedbacks!

Chapter ring plus indices plus multi dial....kuch jyada hi kachra kar dia hai inhone. Timex harborside multifunction watches look much cleaner than titan

As of my experience I don't trust water resistance of titan, you should do water resistance test then it will be fair comparison.

Both duro and Titan Lume Story come with 200 meter/ 660 feet water resistance. I cannot test that in front of camera as I do not have any such equipment. If you cannot trust what an established company is claiming - better you give a pass.

It has to get enough light exposure of intense light like direct sunlight for 10-15 mins and thenbring it to dark area - you will see the glow

Casio meh kuch inhouse nhi hai yeh miyota movements use krte hai . Sirf numbering krte hai watch meh . Khol ke dekhlo naam badal lunga . Casio sirf digital watches ke liye inhouse movement banata hai . Analog comes miyota . Tgey do fraud

That inner 1/5th markers are just stupid on Titan.. Without those watch would have looked so much better. Titan designers do this on most of their watches. They ruin beautiful titan watches with their stupid unique touches.

I always respect each opinion about looks and color, they literally depends on person to person, what I wanted to cover was the quality and features along with look. Even I liked the simple dial design of CASIO Duro more, but overall feel on wrist is better with Titan.
