What I hate most is when I steal a battery and chase my teams Titans spamming the "I've got a battery" button and they just walk away, and then I die and the enemy uses it

If you cloak after pulling the battery the green trail of the battery disappears directly. When using grapple the grapple will still make noise and show a warning in the cockpit HUD even with Low Profile so be ready to jump off if the titan uses electric smoke.

Destroying a titan with a titanfall is just a really nice felling, entertaining video as well

how i do it: 1.hop onto the titan 2.steal the battery 3.jump off the titan 4. unplug your console and you will be disconnected so you cant be killed

At around 1:59 the boost is actually far greater there then what you can expect in game. He went from a titan meter of around 5% to the upper 90s and that's only possible since he was pulling a battery from a doomed titan which kills both pilot and titan. Those things combined is what boosted it so much, a single battery stolen will net you around 35% build time.

i would highly recomend to take off low profile if you are doing the titanfall option. Let's see the scenarios. With low profile: the titan will still be moving when you are on him, and the titanfall could miss. However without low profile, the titan will most likely stay still and electric smoke, the standing still part will allow the titanfall to land on their asses and get the kill.

An important tip: Plan your ambush. Don't try to grab a battery in the middle of a field with little cover. You really need to have a way to get away from the Fist of Doom that's heading your way once you hop off.

After you steal their battery, it's also fun to immediatly jump back onto them, to confuse them, since they won't expect you to still be on their back.

Titanfall kills are a viable option, as enemy titans will crouch and deploy electric smoke when getting rodeoed, u get of it and call in titan.

So we all just got this in our recommended 4 years later

Additional tips: 1.Don't attack Titan-"Packs" (I mean groups of titans), with a little coordination the other titan will melee you and thereby remove you from the back of the titan from which you're trying to steal. 2.Cloak ain't perfect, After getting off with that battery an Alert pilot will see your battery, even when you're cloaked. 3.phase jump ain't perfect either, your walking direction during Phase is also visible for an Alert pilot. At least during the first 2 seconds, so always run a "hook"/curve/whatever when phasing. Mainly don't beeline out of range, when you leave the Phase, get ready to get meleed when doing so. 4. Arc grenades Help with all mentioned Problems. 5. Scorch and Ronin are the only two Titans where I'd be more careful, since they either make Sushi or fried pilot out of you 6. Doomed Titans only get their doomed bar refilled, shields and 20% on their core from receiving a battery. Otherwise known as a packaged execution. Unless the pilot of a doomed titan is Smart about using nuke eject. 7. Vacate your titan when doomed and getting rodeoed. The enemy won't get the battery, and ideally you'll get a free kill when leaving the titan. If you don't get the free kill, at least the enemy didn't get you and your titan. 8. be careful when stealing from Ronins and Monarchs. Ronins have a shotgun and won't hesitate to use it. Monarchs just tend to take that personally. 9. Get the hell into cover, After Stealing, it is Smart to jump on the next titan, however if the enemy decides to shoot you off the friendly titan, noone is gonna Help you. 10. In ideal circumstances you should've already mapped out the escape Route during the theft. 11. Don't forget, if you jump off a Ronin during his Phase shift, you die. This maneuver is remarkably rare, and difficult to pull off, but should be mentioned. I have only been killed twice while attempting this. 12. A northstar is more dangerous, since they can just fire a Cluster missile into the next Wall and turn around, so that you're in the splash Zone. This maneuver is easier to pull off, and should be mentioned. 13. Legion is a Prime Target for pilots, unless his core is active. You can see Wether or not the core is active by looking at his Cockpit.if it's glowing the same way a frag grenade does, get out of the way. Legion doesn't care Wether he is blinded during his core. 14.described Method to see Wether or not the core is active also applicable to any other titan. 15. Scorch and Ronin are best attacked from behind, Ronins rarely expect a pilot to keep up, and Scorches Inferno shield doesn't reach behind him, if he turns around during your approach, get on the nearest Wall. Otherwise you're gonna be Toast more quickly than Legion when going toe to toe with a Scorch. 16. Attack when your Target isn't paying attention. A lot of Players will try to smoke you too late when you attack if they gotta Deal with another titan first. 17. Stay Alert when in a Titan, you don't know how many people are After your big metal ass. 18. Stryders have the Nuke eject more often then other Titans. Prepare to get spooked. 19. Auto-titans are favored targets for Rodeos, since they can't Pop smokes or do anything to defend themselves. Check if the Coast clear before doing so.

The titanfall strategy was exactly like the nuclear eject trade with a tether trap and nuclear eject, but way more fun to do (you can also do the nuclear eject trade in the same titan life, which I found a bit overpowered).

Great Video but this is every counter I have experienced on PC. 1) Low Profile is a must because Titans seem to always have electric smoke. Also one Titan killed me by timing a 180 as I stole his battery. 2) I was killed by a Titan when I was cloaked because the other player saw the green trail the battery leaves behind 3) Grapple and Stim are seemingly useless as the other pilots snipe you anyway 4) Phaseshift and arc grenade never seem to last long enough to make a getaway

Using Holo Pilot and low profile is a pretty fun way to distract titan controlled pilots who does not know their batteries is about to get yoinked out of them

I like how the clip with the tone near the beginning the tone came out with less health because of the reaper, completely disproving his point

A couple of tips to the low leveled players like me, try aiming for titans who have just been deployed, that way they won't be able to deploy their electric smoke, and in the case the enemy titan probably has their smoke, just be ready to jump off at a moments notice

In regards to 'Titanfall' if you call your titan just as you grab the battery and begin yanking it, your titanwill land just as you jump off the enemy.

Here's another way to escape. After jumping off of the enemy titan, jump onto a friendly titan and if you can, get out of the area, the enemy will typically target the titan, which has more of a chance against a titan

A Monarch has one special execution which rips off the hatch of the titan, implode the pilot while you jump on the titan's back and steal it's battery. Great way to get some shield and repair yourself.

Quick correction... at 1:55 he got full gauge because he stole a battery and killed it at once; in the video it was full before he even inserted the battery(though it still does give gauge if you're not full). One more thing, when you're in a Titan, it clearly showed you when you're grappled with a specific message, so it's more viable on auto titans

I do not consider myself a professional player in titanfall 2 and neither do I come to offend the video but for me this video like the previous one on how to avoid being robbed of your battery is something that one already knows from the beginning

I love the last one, where you steal the battery and use Warpfall to crush the enemy titan with your incoming titan. I'm definitely going to take that for a spin.

I use phase shift to steal batteries without low profile. It's very useful. For example when you get on a titan and they use electric smoke I take some of the damage then the moment when the battery is pulled I spam the hell out of phase shift which completely saves me and if done right in the amount of time you have, you could easily snag your self a battery.

You forgot to mention that batteries also give Titans extra core charge when inserted by a friendly

I wouldn't directly grapple directly onto a titan, players get an alert message. If they are even a little confident, they will simply turn around and melee or just pop an electric smoke. I've done it a million times and I've had it done to me 2 million times.

This entire thing could be wrapped up in five seconds by just saying “low profile is good and you should use it”

If your feeling saucy: and you just want to make someone rage quit, then when someone grapples you; face towards them and when they get close, move or dash in a certain direction while still facing them. I’m pretty sure this still works if you turn but keep facing them. By repeating one of these over and over, they will be stuck and you will be swinging them in circles. When you feel like they have figured out what’s going on, shoot or melee them

I was trapped with a tone outside until i was just waiting until i got my titan and so my titan fell on the tone :)

A tip for the grapple hook I'm kinda' surprised you didn't mention, but the titan is notified when it is grappled giving them a headsup regardless of if you have low profile or not. What you want to do is git gud at grapple hooking near it and air strafing onto it. That way all the titan player can notice is the grapple hook sound (which if they're distracted is incredibly hard to notice) and the delayed notification on the hull (which I think is delayed too much as it doesn't even let you pop smoke in time)

As a Cloak user myself Cloak and Low profile with arc can ruin anyone's day but if you have a Titanfall ready go for style points

2020 and Titanfall 2 is still the best/funnest FPS in existence.

my favourite wayof stealing battery and inflict damage to titans is to use grappling hook and low profile to grab the battery and then if the Titan didn"t put his electro-smoke I goes at it again with a hook, this way I can deal massive damage, too bad you can't steal several batteries. I didn't know about the effectiveness of Arc grenade againt Titans, thanks for your video.

as a pilot, tbag the enemy titans after you get their battery. if you call your titan on your location (b4 taunt) it'll destroy the enemy titan if they bite. For some reason, most players will melee rather than shoot

If you can, instead of camo to get onto the titan, use arc to blind it and then use the camo to escape; rodeoing takes a lot of camo time and the battery light will still shine on you unless you camo afterwards.

So for tons of batteries, run cloak with low profile, arc grenade, phase rewind, and monarch with battery thief

what's with all these really awesome channels with small amounts of subscribers? some of these big you tubers are TRASH, but these smaller channels with 5k, 3k, 10k, and stuff like that obviously put MORE work into their videos

you can use hollow pilot to distract the titan and then jump on and also use anything else that helps to get away

There’s an execution for monarch called joule theif that not only finishes off the titan but also steals the battery from the doomed titan

always use the low profile kit and use the obvious 4 pilot mobility kits. cloak and grapple to attack. stim and phase shift to escape. there...just saved you 9 minutes. also, it's worth noting that when you get a battery your titan's core ability gets a 20% charge. so with you have the battery boost and the overcharge titan kit a freshly dropped titan could have 50% core build instantly.

I use the holo soldier as my main the holograms in a game as fast paced as this one are a major "what just happend"

Something i have done lately is use phase shift and jump near a titan. when you reapear you will rodeo the titan most of the time. plus side is you are invisible and have a 2nd shift to get away. downside is you can accidentally be squished since you cant see the titan anymore. but if you come from back or jump from another building that is less likely.

2018s a couple months from being done and I still love this game so much. Right under No Man's Sky in my best games list, and I've held that game in an incredibly high standard especially after the new update

And for the people trying to escape, rodeo the Titans near cover and use faseshift to get away (go around the Titan while faseshift but call your Titan before getting out because the Titan will probably notice your not there and try to get it on the Titan if failed then yeah use faseshift but you can't have warp fall because then the enemy Titan will attack yours so the barrier will protect it)

yes I know this video was made back in 2016 but when you grapple onto a titan they WILL KNOW your there because they get a grapple warning and get a direction indicator so instead use a surface like a wall they are behind

if a particle wall is annoying you use the ronin's arc wave to get rid of it quickly

there's also another way to get the battery without leaving your Titan, but I've never managed to figure out how I've done it. both times I was fighting with another Titan up close and when they blew up from damage done, I get battery refueled without getting down from my Titan.

Why not use holo-pilot use it to distract the tian while you steal the battery (Better with auto-titans)

One time I had not used emergency backup battery during the round until all of the titans on my team were in the same area. Then I used 10+ batteries

When in battle I highly doubt the jet fumes would even be of notice. Though this tip woul be very useful in the event of ambushing a titan.

tip#6 try steal a battery when the Titan first falls, because it won't have electric smoke

If you are scorch and someone is doing a rodeo attack on you use smoke look up and use the thermal sheild they have zero chance of escaping as the thermal sheild will basically kill pilots very fast but it will kill them instantly if they have taken damage. Works every time.

an easy thing to do is jump on the titan so they use their electric smoke (if they have it) and then you jump back on after they've used it

I have an addition to the 5th way. You only deploy your titan when they deploy there smoke which will force them to stay in one place.

I use the grapple and the Titan Hunter and I pull out my .45 with silencer and you aren’t on the mini map unless directly line of sight visible.

I use stim & Low profile combo, I just jump on when not looking and book da hell out of there afterwards!

Grapple and low profile is great I use it and I usually get like 7 titan kills and without my titans I usually get a good 2 3 or 4 all you need to know is how to angle your grapples to latch on to a wall and jump onto a titan

the titan fall method was my fave

To keep it short, grapple is useful for a lot of things especially battery stealing, and low profile is better with it. Cloak i find is unnecessary
