i love this version. i like that they didnt try to just match the way Celine sang it ( hard to compete with ) and the chorus singing "nearer my heart to thee" in between was legendary.

My sister told me about this version and I am listening to it now...haunting, beautiful. Unique...making me cry...come on now. It's just Monday after all. Too early to cry. But the harmony....oh my dear Lord in Heaven. And He must be smiling too.

I read somewhere that James Cameron invited James Horner to his house to decide on the music for the film Titanic. Horner himself played this song on the piano in Cameron’s living room. After her was done and without hearing anything else Cameron told him he got the job. Unfortunately the composer James Horner is no longer with us, small aircraft crash.
