Why the heck i will sink it.This will never touch water. Why spend 5 or 6 years to make it and then put it in water? It's cardboard.

Thank you very much. Yeah, you need to spend some money on materials if you want it to took somewhat good. I've spend a lot of money so far on it and unfortunately due to covid i lost my job so my money for this build are very limited to none. If i come to a point when i can't continue i will stop working on it. I hope i don't have to do this.

First layer is car body filler and than i covered everything with paper.

@@xsicine2560 It's personal work, so you will not find it online. It's printed on a A4 paper and then glued onto cardboard with double sided tape.

​@@oobawooba9448 My cardboard model looks the way it looks because i studied the ship for 14 years and along these years i build it multiple times. The only thing that i bought was the hull frames plans, anything else is just google files, documents, a lot of pictures, yt videos, other people models etc.. A lot of passion and desire to achieve the goal you wanted.

@@oobawooba9448 After completing the hull frames and combining them together to get the shape, i used barbeque sticks for the bow and stern and in the middle i used lollipop sticks. After that i covered everything with this prntscr.com/109te8c It's a kit that is used for car body repair.

@@OzzieBo maybe you never build cardborad ships before I build csrdborad warships that fight with fire in my pool they never ever *melt* no matter what cardborad your talking about paper

Uhm I literally have built cardboard boat models and they’ve all melted or become soggy when I tested them so yeah they do melt.

I didn't forget anything because i'm not making anything inside. And "water proof paint"?? Dude, this is cardboard not iron. 1st, this model is never gonna touch water and 2nd, when it's finish, it will be put in a display case.

Do you mean pizzas? If yes, not much as many will think. Some of the boxes i took from garbage and from my neighbors, i told them to give me the boxes if they order pizza.

They are not perfect, they have many mistakes and if you don't know the ship you probably won't notice them.It took me a little over 2 years just to design my own hull plans for both sides. It was very tedious, asking and searching, analyze every single picture i can get my hands on.

Little by little, progress is made every day, but i didn't made huge progress. But i belive i will post the next video sometimes in November or December if everything is ok.

For the structure part at the start of the video prntscr.com/ubk1xq, i just cut everything from the sheet, they are already scaled to 1:100. For the things that i drew manually, measure twice, drew once. Even so i had many fails attempts.
